The Sun, New Moon on Tuesday 11th May, Mercury, Venus, Ceres and Uranus all in Taurus, suggest this week is about a necessary new deal, regarding your reputation, appearance, name, brand or image. This may be your portrait or your Twitter profile. This is ongoing, until 31st July, so prepare for some long-term tussling and discussion. This cycle is about your religion. It is about any therapist, psychologist, counsellor or psychiatrist you see – as well. It is about your spirituality (Buddhism, for example) or your faith (spiritualism, Reiki, The Golden Dawn and so on). Gemini, there is a long,slow revolution taking place which will fundamentally alter how things are, by the time June comes around. The Taurus weather now, draws in Ceres, the Sun and Uranus into a sign which rules friendship and the community, in your chart. The community may be a club, team, society, union and so on. Friends are often in the background of our lives, but not in this cycle. Who is your old friend, really? What is a true friend, these days? You are more than your career revolution, or your social status shift, or your dramatically new ‘position’ in the world. Yet, Leo, for around three weeks, now, you are going to be seen purely in terms of your business card, your achievements, your success, and your mission.

Taurus weather. What is it that makes you feel confined or stuck (or whom?) in terms of study, teaching, travel, foreign people and places, the internet, publishing or your bigger picture? The Sun in Taurus turns a spotlight on this aspect of your personality and achievements now, so if you have to correct problems, you can. You can also stage a revolution, of sorts. If push has come to shove, since the Sun-Uranus conjunction last week, I doubt you’ll waste any time making things clear to people who do not understand how and why they are cramping your style.
This may be about your commitments as a student or teacher, or if you’ve been letting your publishing responsibilities or internet commitments drift – that will also be more obvious to other people now. The revolution is overdue.
The Ninth House of your solar chart used to rule sea voyages a few centuries ago. Now it rules long-haul flights, foreign countries (to visit, or live in), and people from other countries and cultures. It also rules any part of the internet you find foreign. We are ruled by a virus, which astrology predicted (twice) back in 2019. That virus and the attempts at a vaccine are mutable (old astrological language for constantly changing. Mutating, quite literally).
So the world is also constantly changing. India was apparently on top of the virus a few weeks ago. Now, tragically, the reverse is true.

Let’s consider the health, fitness and wellbeing aspect of this Taurus weather cycle first. Everything about your body will be a lot more obvious now – which is why it’s classically a time for a medical check-up or a pandemic revolution. People get their vaccines researched at this time – and either bask in their epidemiologist’s praise, or ask for more information. The Sun reveals (within a few days of this cycle beginning) what you can be proud of, in terms of your health, mental health, fitness, food, drink, medication, healers – and what is clearly in need of attention. It exposes what is central and important – what can’t be overlooked. It would be easy to say this is COVID-19 but of course it could be anything. Your personal chart will tell the story. Maybe it is anxiety or depression. Perhaps it is being overweight or just the need for some kind of revolution with your food. Children, babies, teenagers or Millennials are in the spotlight now. You are in intense Taurus weather.
