The New Moon Eclipse on Thursday the 10th of June 2021 will bring a cover-up in relation to the airlines, trains (like Eurostar), ferries and/or cruises. It falls in Gemini, the sign which rules short journeys. As this eclipse conceals the truth, don’t be blindsided by what you assume the real story is, that day. Later on, we will all realise we were hoodwinked. Be extremely careful if you are booking (say) a flight. We’re also in Mercury Retrograde season.
Chiron is all about daring, and Chiron in the First House is all about your image, reputation and personal style. The time has come to test the parameters of what is acceptable, or possible, in terms of your appearance, public profile and ‘package’. Of course, you also know you have Mercury Retrograde in your media, internet, publishing and advertising zone all month – so it’s really about testing, not launching. Anything you began since May 15th will have to relaunch, like a NASA fail. Nevertheless, with Chiron in Aries now, what you get away with, in terms of your image or look, will demonstrate what is the new, possible, impossible. It may be your name. It may be your online alter ego. It might be your hair or weight. What’s out there for you, in terms of hair colours, teeth bleaching, public relations campaigns, or advertising brochures? Chiron is about the audacity to attempt.

This week is about your religion, psychologist, spirituality, psychic ability, Tarot reader, hypnotist and so on. The inner world. Perhaps, quantum mechanics if that is your inner ‘reality’ now.
The more people say something is impossible, or outrageous, or just plain unattainable, the more you will want to try it. That’s almost a rule with Chiron. Chiron has to have his way now. When it comes to your soul or spirit, you will be in the mood to experiment. People’s jaws hit the floor when Chiron goes through your Twelfth House, because they can’t quite believe what you’re up to in the name of God, or therapy, or mediumship. All these things are ruled by this cycle. Remember, Chiron was discovered in 1977, the year that Punk Rock broke around the world. So, what is going on here is a fair bit of boundary-pushing.

What you pull off – with friends and groups – will extend the parameters of what is possible, as well as what is acceptable. Chiron is at large in your Eleventh House of communities. Chiron, in astrology, crosses the orbit of Saturn and Uranus. Saturn describes limitations. Uranus describes revolutions. When Chiron passes through your most sociable house, you’ll soon see the evidence. Chiron gives us the audacity to attempt what is supposed to be impossible. Sometimes we pull off achievements which are positively outrageous or audacious. This half-comet, half-asteroid, was discovered in 1977, a year which proved that he (or she) who dares, wins. It was a big year for test tube babies, Punk Rock and Apple Macintosh computers.

So, in June 2021, you have Chiron in aspect to the outer planets, in your zone of success, status, achievement, position, mission and ambition. Chiron was a major player when America was born, in the form we know it now. A lot of the words associated with Chiron are slang words from the USA – chutzpah, balls, far out, crazy, and above all, wow. Chiron was discovered by someone who was not part of the astronomical elite. He was not part of the establishment; he was a maverick. So, this week, Cancer, there is a guide, mentor, example or even a foster-father figure, who is rather a maverick to you – urging you on. You are moving the goalposts, yet again.

Chiron in the Ninth House is about foreign people and places; publishing and academia; education and the worldwide web. You’ll change the parameters, Leo, and shift everybody’s ideas about what is acceptable, possible or de riguer. Chiron has no interest in tradition or convention, and this week you are being guided or inspired by those mavericks who are outside the system. In order to experiment with the rules like this, you will need a lot of confidence. That’s okay, though – Chiron orbits around the Sun, the planet which rules your own zodiac sign. Leo, you’ll aim, shoot and fire.
As well as orbiting the Sun, Chiron also forms a parabolic orbit with Saturn (your reality check) and Uranus (your need to change.) I go into this in more detail in my new book. This cycle in your life is about scrutinising the ‘reality’ of your situation with foreigners and foreign countries, then asking yourself if you are prepared to permanently alter the way that you, they and other people see life. As I said, a book, website or course may be involved.

Uranus in Taurus continues to liberate you, excite you, exhilarate you and urge you to take the road less travelled – perhaps literally. Chiron arrives in our lives to persuade us to experiment with what’s possible. By doing this successfully, we show other people where the new parameters are – and this strongly applies to a business or personal partnership now. Chiron in Aries is really about your lifestyle, workload, health, fitness for duty, housework, unpaid work, paid work or study. It is about yourself as a machine, really, able or not able – to plug into the bigger machinery. Make sure that your outrageous vision of what’s possible on the work, unpaid work or study front, does not mean hurling other people out of their comfort zones, unless you know it’s worth it. Perhaps you do.
For you, Scorpio, working with this cycle can make you one of the catalysts for more widespread change in the work, unpaid work or academic sphere, because Chiron asks us to move the goalposts in some way, and show the rest of us what’s now possible. You will have a most interesting time with the world of parenthood-potential sex, babies, children, teenagers or younger generations, when Chiron travels through your Fifth House. This half-comet, half-asteroid (known to its closest friends as Comet 95P) is all about challenging convention. This will be one of the most experimental and daring periods in your life.
You’ve already seen what you can get away with, Sagittarius. Perhaps it’s being a divorced father and figuring out a different way to be a parent.
Chiron is about pushing the envelope and doing what ‘they’ say can’t be done (or shouldn’t be done!) In your own private world, it is now time to explore your options, and test a few fences. Perhaps this is about adoption or IVF for you, or just teaching or tutoring teenagers on Zoom. Remember, Chiron is neither positive nor negative. Chiron in Aries is triggered now. You’ll be much more inspired and motivated to be adventurous – even daring – when it comes to your house, apartment, family or household now. Chiron aspects (when one or more planets are aspecting the sign and house of Chiron) tend to produce much more important results, long-term, and that is happening this week. At these times, you are going to testing the boundaries of what is possible, and acceptable. A maverick figure or organisation may tutor, inspire, mentor or coach you with this.
Your home, family or household has rules, which in turn are governed by laws. It also has unspoken rules and a general code of acceptability. And yet, you may find yourself wanting to push hard against the barriers – partly to see if you can have the satisfaction of getting away with it, but mostly because you need to find out what you can actually pull off.

The internet? Chiron says, ‘Push it. Test yourself. Give them hell.’ This half-comet, half-asteroid, was discovered in 1977, at a time when test-tube babies were under development, and the human genome project was going ahead in leaps and bounds. Whatever your internet, media, publishing or education goals are, you can score a direct hit now, if the timing is right, and you have done your homework. What you achieve will make more traditional or conservative people speechless – and it may annoy those who think your approach is mad, or just plain wrong. I say more about this in my new book, but basically – Chiron rules daring. You can attempt audacious acts online or on television now, but also with the fundamentals of communication. Speech therapy and sign language, literacy and foreign language will come up for some Aquarius people. The whole point of this cycle is to show you what’s realistic, and what’s not, as what you and others get away with now will show the rest of us where the boundaries have moved to, as well.

Chiron in your money zone, Pisces? It’s a cycle when you’ll find out first-hand what’s okay, and what’s not okay with all that you own, earn or owe. Chiron says “Push it, test it, stretch yourself, do what they say is impossible…” It may be a new coat. It may be your pantry. It may be what you consider to be your buried treasure investment.
Pisces, the financial and property arrangements you have with other people, or big organisations and institutions lead you into Chiron weather in June. Chiron describes audacious attempts which tell us what’s frankly impossible – or the most daring bullseyes, which suddenly make it clear that almost anything is achievable. This cycle could cost you money or make you money. It depends on your timing, your preparation, and your ability to properly assess the odds. You have to put a price on the experiment, really. It pays to ask for second and third opinions from people who are qualified. What more cynical or conservative types think is frankly impossible, or even outrageous tends to be the norm, now.
