Karma from 2002 calls again with study, teaching, travel, foreigners, regional differences publishing or the worldwide web. It goes back even further than that, actually, in 19-year cycles. To quote from my latest book: The most karmically important aspects of your academic abilities, your teaching or lecturing skills, your religious, spiritual (or other) beliefs – and even your potential as publisher or author – will be laid out for settlement. You may feel as if you are watching yourself, in 2021, watching yourself, back in 2002. If you are long overdue for special karmic rewards, now is the time you’ll get it. You could pick up a diploma, a degree or an award. 2002 also comes calling if you have anything to settle, as closure.
If you were too narrow-minded about the world, too wilfully ignorant, too much of a philistine – that will all be on karmic display now. If you were slack about your commitments as a student or teacher, or if you let your publishing responsibilities slide about 19 years ago – that will also be more obvious now.

Jupiter and Saturn, but also Mercury Retrograde, now show huge career, unpaid work or academic decisions ahead by mid-March 2021, but you will be going back and forth with the discussion, paperwork or plans until that time. Of course, you are – that’s why you’re reading this on the sofa in your tracksuit pants, at home, eating cold baked bans from the can. But – for the rest of January and into early February, now, you are going to be seen purely in terms of your business card, your achievements, your success, and your mission. Are you a full-time Mr or Mrs, with a partner whose money, power and/or children defines your own status? That role too, will be up for inspection now. The world is watching.
I mentioned Mercury Retrograde. Delays, changes or reversals will affect discussions, plans, or goals about your career, unpaid work or study until mid-March 2021. If you’re getting it right or wrong, you’ll know about it, within days of this cycle starting. You can get promoted now, but you can also be called into your boss’s office for a little chat.

Mars and Uranus in Taurus, in your Eleventh House of friends and groups, is a radical change. A revolution. Use astrology to avoid a battle you do not need. On this transit you have to pick your battles.
Uranus is sudden, unexpected, unusual, unique, liberating and quite challenging. You have to want to change. Accepting change or making it is a good idea on this transit. Try to lose the heat and speed, though. Mars in your life needs to be managed. The potential for a war is there, beyond the battle. Rather like the War of Independence in the United States. I am sure you do not want that in your life long-term. It is a complete waste of precious time and energy.

Let’s talk about the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury Retrograde. For the first time in many years, they are picking up your former, current or potential partner in a life-changing way. You will go back and forth with this until mid-March, Leo.

Pluto requires willpower for you to be powerful and self-control to give you control. If you absolutely have to go, remember to pack your stiff upper lip. You’ll win kudos for your dignified performance – but honestly, who needs it? Pluto is also about siblings and cousins now. Your brother or sister could easily pull you in two directions as you realise you have to reach for willpower. Do the right and strong thing, not necessarily the comforting thing! Neptune in Pisces precedes Jupiter in Pisces from May 2021. That’s big (huge) for the family, the household, your house, apartment, town and/or country. The South Node in Sagittarius is now at full force in your zone of paid work, unpaid work or study.
