Congratulations to Meghan and Harry on the announcement of their second child. And yes, astrology predicted it. Do you remember my Meghan baby prediction in The Express back in 2019? “They could have another child as soon as 2021, astrologer Jessica Adams claimed. The astrology expert said: ”Plans for a second child – perhaps even an adopted child from abroad next time – suggest a new face in the family could easily join Harry, Meghan and Archie in 2021 or 2022.”
And did you miss this other Meghan and Harry astrology prediction in The Daily Mail on October 19th?
“The Sussexes will invest time in a radical new farming and food venture. The product will be an alternative to coffee, chocolate or meat and the businessman involved is rather handsome.” Well, as People magazine reported a few months later, Meghan invested in Clevr Blends nutrition-rich lattes. The business began as a “funky pop-up coffee bar” in California. (And yes, the co-founder is indeed a handsome businessman). But hey, Prince Harry’s not bad either. Lucky Meghan. And by the way, her astrology chart (and his) still says – adoption is not out of the question after this second child in 2021.

Sometimes financial, property, business or economically led changes on a large scale will force you to move forward. Surf with the waves and stay ahead. If you don’t, you may end up stranded. New ideas, new inventions and advances in technology are very likely to change the picture for you at this time. Anything from internet banking shifts (Robin Hood) to changes in the property, business or taxation laws where you live could have a revolutionary impact, surf with the flow. Aries, as you either feel trapped by your old position on things and need to move forward – or because suddenly changing circumstances push you into taking a new view, you choose a U-turn in your financial destiny, now, or it chooses you. Nothing is predictable until 2026. But the reward is freedom. Aries, it all means progress now. Don’t look back.

Let’s look around the map this week, and particularly a specific region or country – or maybe just its residents. Your empowerment with people and places overseas, or in other regions, comes from sheer willpower in 2021. I’ll quote from my new book to give you more detail. The control with/through other places in other faces comes from old-fashioned self-control. You’ll see it this week, Taurus If you feel your knowledge base is too limited at this time, you will take steps to transform this, as you open yourself up to new ideas about/from the place in question, which take you to the next level. You could end this cycle with qualifications, but the subjects you study are unlikely to be bog-standard or traditional. COVID-19 aside – if you do travel to other countries, or even emigrate now, you are unlikely to take your old views and habits with you. Even if you wished to stay where you were, in terms of your former ideas and beliefs, this Pluto cycle in Capricorn means destiny will have a way of moving you on.

Let’s talk about your relationship with God. Maybe just your relationship with the Universe. Maybe, your mental health – if that is an issue. Anxiety and depression, meditation and Buddhism are all associated with this cycle. I’ll quote from my new book to give you more detail:
As with all Uranus cycles, do not push other people too fast, or too far, in terms of your own psyche, beliefs, inner world, soul or spirit at this time. You may believe you’re advancing the cause of progress, but unless you accurately assess how ready others are to change their position, you could find yourself staging an unpopular one-man or one-woman revolution. If you’re part of a bigger community or global change, however, your great leap forward will be easier. This is a really huge period for religion in your life, but also your dreams (for example) or your relationship with a counsellor, priest, Rabbi or therapist. Even if you are a staunch humanist and sceptic, your soul intrudes when Uranus in the Twelfth House lingers. And it will do so until 2026. If your inner worldview is stuck, then this long cycle will trigger radical changes in your life which force you to move on, spiritually or psychologically – and change.

Let’s talk about your social life (on Zoom on in the real world), your friendships, the groups you belong to and the circles of people which really affect you. I’ll use my new book to give you more detail, Cancer.
Uranus will work in two different ways now. Firstly, it will bump you along on social media with sudden surprises (and even the occasional electrifying shock), which instantly removes you from your old place in the scheme of things and takes you to the next level. This has been going on for a while now, so no surprises there. Yet, your friendships, groups and social life now comes up for another zigzag.
My friend Julie Burchill (Sun Cancer) joined Twitter on this cycle and has become a campaigner for feminist causes there, along with J.K. Rowling. You will have your own version of this cycle, Cancer. Essentially if you are prepared to do the last thing you thought you’d end up doing, with your social life, you’ll be on track. Accepting what/who is pretty radical, by your old standards, is a healthy sign.
Cancer, let’s talk about Ceres in Aries, and your career, unpaid work or studies. This cycle begins on Monday 22nd February. You will see a reshuffle, promotions, demotions, departures and other changes in your chosen field, by May 9th, 2021. I’ll use my new book to give you more detail. This dwarf planet is also famous for producing sackings, resignations and redundancies as much as it produces promotions (perhaps, yours), new jobs and big hits. Its effects are always the same though. No matter if you think of a particular professional turning point as good or bad, Ceres is there to empower you and give you control. She is also there to be woven into new deals, new compromises and usually a massive change in the balance of power. Career ‘downturns’ at this time often tend to be disguised upturns: the sense of emotional intensity for you or others at the time will be real, but the way your destiny will be reshaped at this time will take you higher, in the end – and towards new places and possibilities which your old life never permitted.
If you feel stuck with your role and goals now, you only need to watch, wait and listen until your turn comes for the new deal. Ceres is like that, Cancer.

Ah, progress. Are you in the new ‘rush’ flow with Uranus in Taurus, now, Leo? This may happen professionally because a larger trend sweeps you along (for example, a change in government policy, or in your particular field or industry, which suddenly makes a step forward possible.)

This cycle, with Uranus in Taurus, will radically alter the state of play in your world, with your foreign or foreign-based friends, and in the internet groups you belong to which pull in those from other states or countries. It will have two distinct effects. I’ll quote from my new book to give you more detail, Virgo.
Firstly, you may be shaken up, and woken up, by friends or others (say, family) from distant regions or in faraway countries – who have their own ideas about what the most meaningful things in life – might mean. This in turn disturbs your position; in fact, it can make it almost impossible to hang on to the way things used to be in terms of your ideas about other cultures, nationalities, countries or regions – as well as the way you view your place in the world, or with a particular part of the map. We could be talking Canada and England here, or perhaps Los Angeles and London. Maybe your concern is with another nationality, race or ethnicity.
This Uranus cycle is with you until 2026 but occasionally it gathers speed, as it does now, Virgo.

What if you feel held back by a financial, charity, business, ownership or property matter, or by a money involvement? The more trapped you feel, the more likely you are to do something drastic. But with Uranus in Taurus, do make sure you understand the consequences if you suddenly decide to take on everything, and everybody, in your attempt to become a free agent. Just as butterflies flapping their wings can cause the strangest changes in the weather, your decision to do what you like, when you like, could have a trickle-down effect you had never anticipated. If you really are desperate for change in your financial life, with a bank, or in terms of the property agreements you are a part of, then you may well succeed – and it may be a necessary thing. But judge the impact on other people carefully. This is important not only from a simple human point of view, but also because any zigzag lighting you cause in your world will ultimately rebound on you. Fortunately, Uranus has a strange way of providing natural openings for change in this cycle. Others will move on, economically, or with the house, apartment, shares, charity, business and so on – making it possible for you to do the same thing. By liberating themselves from the old way of seeing life – the old way of operating – those around you will make it possible for you to go ahead in leaps and bounds too.

This Aquarius weather in 2021? Well, Scorpio, it’s dramatic as you have seen since the end of 2020. Sometimes people just move out of share households and get single apartments on this cycle. Others start to renovate. You could go on retreat now, to a room of the house, or a shed, which has become a kind of second home, or find some other way to leave the usual domestic scene behind and have a relationship with ‘home’ on a different level. This extends, perhaps, to the situation with the other person, if your house or apartment holds two people.
You’ll experiment with unorthodox new ways to be who you are, with he or she – now. Perhaps what you want to do now is so ‘abnormal’ you can only do it through some kind of revolutionary act. Your ‘two of us’ life experiments will genuinely excite you. This time can be electrifying, like the biggest breakthrough you’ve ever had. Former, current or potential partners of all sorts fall into this category.

The South Node in Sagittarius is making some key patterns this week. The South Node is in your solar First House, Sagittarius. And the First House rules your appearance, image, reputation and public profile. It brings issues about your outer packaging or ‘advertising’ – how you present yourself to the world, as well as the way you are seen. I’ll use my new book to give you more detail. Cosmetic surgery, cosmetics, hair colour, photographs, promotion, advertising, business cards, clothes, accessories, branding and status symbols are just a few of the avenues which the South Node of karma, déjà vu and returned experience – will work through now. You are being taken back to all that you are owed from the year 2002, and all that you might still owe. Spiritually. Perhaps in a practical way. If life seems repetitive, that is because each turn of the wheel regarding your reputation, appearance, face or image allows you to work on your tolerance and sense of humour – on the inside.

Pluto in Capricorn is here to remind you that self-control gives you control over your appearance (weight-watching for example) and that willpower gives you a great deal more power, in terms of your reputation (tightly monitoring your Twitter feed, much?) Pluto in Capricorn can be about a title, too.
If you work in a profession where appearances are everything (like acting, for example) or your status in life depends on your looks (you’re a trophy wife or husband, and you know it) then this cycle needs special consideration. I’ll quote from my new book, to give you more detail. If you make your surface the priority, instead of your substance, you may find that other areas of your life are coming second. There has to be more to life than looking good or making sure that things look ‘right.’ At the same time, if you realise you can pour huge effort into (say) 2-3 hours every other day, regarding yourself, that may work.
Look at the whole notion of image and appearances and have a break with it. Switch your hair colour, throw fancy-dress parties, try your Boho look/lifestyle for a year, then switch to Neo Con the next. Make sure the people around you know that it’s just another story, rather than the whole book. And remind yourself, every minute of the day, that this is just your cover, and neither you, nor anyone around you, should attempt judgement on something so superficial. Yet, if you want to be more powerful in the world, and have much more control in your life, you will run ‘Me’ on social me-me-media like a pro.

This is an important week for money. Ceres leaves Pisces and Neptune remains there. You have now finished a deal or compromise over the financial side of life. It may have been a tax return or a stoush with your accountant. Now you are moving forward to May-July 2021 which is exceptional for making or saving money or getting rid of any property, business or charity issues. I’ll use my new book to give you more detail, Aquarius. Money, possessions and property could cause tremendous confusion and chaos in this cycle, as you know, unless you take off your blinkers and try to see the reality of your situation. As always with Neptune, it helps to periodically ask sensible outsiders for their angle on what is actually going on. Aquarius, you have just been thrown a couple of massive options which could come good in May and again in 2021.
Look carefully at all your La La Land dreams now, about any financially significant business, house, apartment, organisation, person or situation, as it’s time to sort things out. Neptune in the Second House can make us blind to the usual boundaries and lead us into areas which are totally inappropriate for us. Often in this cycle, people find they can’t say no – to a person, an offer, a deal. All the more reason to step away from your decisions and see them objectively. You have let a lot of wool-gathering go on for a very long time. You have also been made aware of some realities. You are tremendously lucky to now be able to lock down those realities.
Accounting? Spreadsheets? No wonder you want to escape it. Relationships with a financial, business and property angle must be carefully examined now. What is normal and mundane about the world will either strike you as extremely boring now (“Who wants to count beans?”) or far too ordinary, mundane and ‘real.’ In order to spin a fantasy financial life, you must compromise with Reality somewhere along the line, though. A financial realist who is also a starry-eyed idealist really can create miracles! As I said, you’ve been thrown the right person, or the right opportunity. Aim for May 2021.

Uranus is a symbol of revolution, radical change, freedom and independence, Pisces. This planet is now in your Third House of internet, media, education, publishing and communication. This is also where we find your travel commitments – the short journeys you take, either in your own car, or more adventurously, on planes, boats or scooters.
Living with COVID-19 means a complete turnaround with both the internet (Zoom) and commuting or holidays (for many of us, they have ceased to exist).
The world of words, ideas and communication will also be your path to freedom now. You would probably prefer it if your life were some kind of new wave poem, a radical film, a revolutionary novel or a high-tech new Tik-Tok song at this time. This can be an incredibly liberating time for words, images and ideas, Pisces. Your own appreciation of writers and other ‘words’ people will be tied to all that liberates, excites and perhaps shocks you. Uranus can be like that, in the Third House. Pisces, no matter if this is getting around town, getting from A to B, dealing with the internet, the media or the book world – public speaking (or not) – revolutionary times are here. I’d say that even without COVID-19. If you’re not already taking quite radical steps to free yourself from X or Y, then it’s time. New technology in particular is your chum.
