The Money, Business or Property Question
Uranus is a symbol of radical change, release, space and new beginnings. All this is possible now, but you will need to strike a deal. This planet has not been in Taurus, in your Second House of values, in your adult life. Your ruling planet Mars is also in Taurus, so it’s time to get tough with others, and also be tough with yourself. There is incredible potential here for a dramatically reformed way of life. A house, apartment, holiday home or corporate building is in the frame. You have the North Node in your Fourth House of property, and obviously one revolution with the money or business, would clear the way to new possibilities with real estate. It is important to understand why Taurus rules your Second House of values and valuable discussions, though. I am sure you know that this is the bull in the Zodiac of old. Taurus is associated with gold bullion, which holds its value against flaky currency. Taurus is also the bull market on Wall Street, and the famous charging bull downtown. The word ‘cattle’ even has a relationship with the word ‘capital’ and thousands of years ago, when astrologers were using the stars to come up with memory-jogging images of what a particular season meant, they pinned this constellation to cattle, because what we now call April-May was a time for trade, for sale, purchase, negotiation and big deals. Underpinning all this is a discussion about who and what you consider to be most precious in your life. Is it security? Your garden? Your company? Is it something that money cannot buy, like independence, or integrity, or freedom? This last one is important, because Diana is in Taurus as well as Uranus (and she signifies a certain kind of wildness) so let’s look at it all.

Uranus the Planet of Freedom and Diana the Asteroid of Independence
Uranus is a horoscope symbol which has been with us since 1781, when a free-thinking German keyboard player called William Herschel decided to rescue his sister Caroline from their family, and bring her to his house in Bath, to help him in his astronomy work. Caroline worked on the telescopes with him. She had more freedom than any other female in the city. (In fact, King George III would end up giving her a salary as an Astronomer Royal). It takes Uranus several decades to go through your money, property, charity and business zone, and this planet has about 7 years to do his work. It will begin with you paying up, or perhaps haggling or bargaining – that is one possibility. Another is asking for payment or settlement. Both will necessarily involve a big discussion with yourself about how dependent or independent you must now be. You, he, she or they would also gain by looking at how complicated, heavy, entangled, cumbersome and restrictive a situation has become. This may be a business which has been left alone for too long, or perhaps a garden, house or apartment which is in desperate need of review. Uranus was the Roman god who was trapped by his own choices. In turn, he trapped his own children. When Saturn rebelled, they all broke free – and Uranus was himself liberated from parenthood, which he detested. In a very few cases this month, some Aries people will be living out the myth, because they also have the North Node in Cancer, in the Fourth House of family. It has to be said. There may be some karmic decisions ahead, regarding the family home.

I mentioned Diana as well as Uranus. We use the whole family of asteroids in modern astrology and she is Jupiter’s daughter, so is actually the great-granddaughter of Uranus. She is the huntress who begged her father to release her from marriage and motherhood so she could be free to roam. She is also in Taurus, the sign of the bull, gold bullion and the bull market in your horoscope in March. I might mention some other asteroids here, too. Jupiter’s other daughter Fortuna (who spins the Wheel of Fortune) is in Scorpio, the sign which rules your marriage and mortgage, your sex life and your financial security. Aesculapia, another member of Jupiter’s family, is exactly conjunct Uranus at 0 Taurus on 7th March, which is astonishing. Very close to this date, Aries, you are going to realise that something you had written off, considered going, going gone – or a thing of the past – could so easily resurrect or revive. It will have an extreme impact on how you see your money, assets or property. March really is destiny-changing. You also have Panacea in Taurus so a great many members of Jupiter’s family tree are showing up. Thus, the sense of room for progress – space for opportunities – the potential for a vastly improved situation. It just takes ‘yes’. The wisest and cleverest of Jupiter’s daughters, Minerva – always shown with an owl – lines up with Uranus at 0 Taurus on 17th March and if ever there was a moment to bring all your wisdom and insight to the negotiating table, that is it.

Allowing Space for the Unpredictable
This is a very good month to allow space for the unpredictable. Corporate hoarders so often seem like Dickens’ Scrooge – stuck in their ways. Not so, from March 7th. Uranus is a symbol of everything that is sudden, unexpected and sometimes a shock. Perhaps you think you’re set in your ways when it comes to money. Again, not so. You could even raise your own eyebrows this month. This idea about Uranus being a cipher for everything that comes out of the blue, comes partly (again) from the old Roman myth, adapted from the Greek. Uranus had two children. Steropes and Arges. Both were forms of lightning – one sheet, one forked. Lightning is of course at the core of electricity. From this, we get the idea of the zap factor of an electrical storm, but also the well-known phenomenon of electric shock. It is a very smart idea to leave your situation wide open this month as no matter how stuck, settled or certain a situation might seem to be – or a person’s attitude towards money – it may well be that the forces of nature may play their part. Never underestimate the fact that the UKIP symbol shows a pound in electric neon colours. This is, of course, Brexit month. Nigel Farage is an Aries, like you. One way or another, no matter if you live as far away as Australia or America, there are lightning bolts ahead in the world economy, with currency and cryptocurrency, big business and trade, which are going to change your life too. It’s like a series of switches being thrown. You will see why when Mars opposes Fortuna near 25th March.

Future Ambitions in 2021, 2022, 2023
I am sure you know the song about climbing every mountain, from The Sound of Music. There are a couple of really towering ambitions waiting from December 2020, when Jupiter and Saturn both enter Aquarius. This situation is previewed in March 2019. We have a spell of Aquarius weather, with Venus and Bacchus both in this sign. In your horoscope, your highest ambitions for status and success are ruled by Aquarius, on the cusp of your Tenth House of achievement. Peak career highs, perhaps, or peak moments with other roles, responsibilities or niches in your life. You have to start somewhere on this long road, Taurus, and you will be in a position to make a start in March. There is a sensual, satisfying feeling to what takes place. Bacchus is a symbol of wine. The high life. The good life. You may be clinking champagne glasses for the future, or detoxing (more on matters of image in a moment) but there is still a lovely, enticing, irresistible invitation here. How could you not want to proceed towards a crowning achievement? Pluto (real power) enters this same Aquarius zone of your chart in time for 2023 and remains there for many years, so it’s not impractical to begin thinking about how you could get to the absolute top in 5 years.

Presentation, Packaging, Image, Appearances
On 21st March we have a Full Moon in Libra in the Sixth House of your chart, which rules your body, mind and spirit. This is a real time of reckoning for you, in terms of your drink, food, prescribed medication, recreational drug use, doctor, healer, fitness, meditation, yoga and so on. It takes place two weeks after Uranus, a symbol of radical change, enters Taurus, and your house of image, appearances, shape, style, presentation and packaging. Many people born under your sign will turn away from alcohol, take up gym memberships or move away from meat this month. A Full Moon is always about trying to reconcile two sides of a situation, or two halves of a whole. The Moon is opposite the Sun at this time. Figuring that out will take time and space. Yet, this is an important Full Moon (look up and you will see it, white and bright in the night sky) as it falls in the same month as quite revolutionary change for your skin, complexion, size and weight becomes possible. That’s Uranus in Taurus, your own sign.

Boundaries with Friends and the Group
You often come up against questions about boundaries with your friends, and the others in your group. This is because Neptune, which dissolves everything and blurs the lines, has been in this area of your chart for many years. In March, as the Sun travels through this house of your horoscope, a huge amount of light will be shed on the chemistry you share with your acquaintances, the brotherhood or sisterhood, or the oldest people within your friendships. Figuring out how to be at one with people – how to merge – without risks, is an art form. This zone of your astrological wheel is really about pooling resources with other people and getting things to a point where you can all co-exist separately and together, without there being any issues. It takes great care, sensitivity, attention, focus, concentration – and a great amount of insight – to pull this off. Taurus, it is possible that you will be helped by something or someone greater than yourself. A typical example would be your involvement with Sea Shepherd, Greenpeace or a similar conservationist group, and what appears to be divine intervention or help from on high! Yet, at all times, remember what has happened in the past with your circle or community and learn from it. You have a dazzling Sun-Proserpina conjunction on March 4th and as Proserpina is the go-between, the broker between two people or two organisations, the piggy-in-the-middle and the human bridge – you can expect assistance. On March 6th Neptune is conjunct Vesta, so those questions about merging, versus being everywhere/all over the place really dominate then. You may well find the issue is one male and two or more females, within the actual circle or social media group. On March 7th, the Sun conjuncts Neptune which repeats the message, in case you didn’t get it the first time! The situation will go backwards and forwards, as Mercury Retrograde is at large. In fact, you would do well not to rely on the emails, texts, paperwork or discussions at all near the Sun-Mercury conjunction of 15th March, because you or others could change position, or you may find that what is in motion, goes backwards, by the middle of April. To say the situation with your group or friends is ‘flowing’ is a polite way of putting it, but actually, it’s just completely uncertain. This could be the England football team, the Labour Party, the Commonwealth of Nations or the cast of your next television series, but this is unformed. Give it time.

Uranus in Taurus and the Art of Change
Uranus is the planet we associate with two kinds of lightning – sheet and forked. This comes from a myth laid down in Latin over 2000 years ago. The story was picked up in 1781 when Uranus was discovered and named, in the same year that an Italian scientist called Luigi Galvani discovered what he called animal electricity. Lightning illuminates the night sky so that you often see ‘day for night’ when you peer through the bedroom window. Now, you have the planet which represents all this, moving into a new zodiac sign – Taurus – for the first time in your adult life, unless you are extremely old.

I am sure you know how much storms change everything. They come from nowhere, and even a weather forecaster cannot tell you how and when lightning will appear. There is always relief and release, eventually, as things settle down and you realise that change was necessary. In fact, storms, thunder and rain are part of the natural world and without them, there is no growth. The time has come to look at the structure of your life. What you might call your achievement, and your ambition. Along with Uranus and his entry into Taurus, the sign which rules your very soul and spirit – we also have quite a lot of astrological weather in the Tenth House of your astrological chart, which is where you have always aimed high. March is very likely to be about your career, your status, your position, your course, your paid work or unpaid role.

The Pisces Weather in Your Achievement Zone
The dates that I am seeing for both these patterns – Uranus, the electrical storm and lightning – in Taurus – and also the Pisces weather – are very close. We can bring it down to March 7th and 17th, actually. You can allow 24 hours either side of that, for the world to catch up with itself. Some of you are reading this in Auckland, and some of you are reading it in Los Angeles. There is one big reason why questions about position, and status, are really important. Chiron just left this zone of your chart. That’s a big event in astrology. Chiron was the person or organisation that taught you what it was possible to get away with. Chiron, for many years, educated you in the so-called impossible, unthinkable or outrageous. This has basically been about what you would call your mountain top of ambition, or your climb through society, or up the ranks of the class system, or (most likely) the different levels of your chosen field. Your profession, industry, business or other calling. Now, Chiron has gone. I mentioned ‘the Art of Change’ at the beginning of your forecast and there is indeed an art to it. You can either go back and reconstruct or rebuild what you had, or you can walk away and start again. Now, let’s look at the group around you.

Chiron in Aries and the Exit of Uranus From Aries
Chiron the teacher, having spent years in your success and ambition zone, is now in your house of groups. This may be your former, current or potential band. Your political party. The cast of your film. Your branch of Alcoholics Anonymous. Your charity. Another ‘course in life’ is beginning, but this time it will be about the hive mind. The group mentality. The psychology of people in a circle or community. At the same time, the departure of Uranus from this same area of your chart, on 7th March, suggests a completely different set of circumstances and atmosphere for the group. To say everything is up in the air in March is the understatement of the year. This is, again, the art of change. When everything settles, how will you all regroup, or will there be a splinter group or even no real group left at all? This brings us to the question of your secrets and your very soul. You’d have to expect that March 22nd and 24th, when the Sun conjuncts Chiron in Aries in your Eleventh House, then the Sun conjuncts Salacia – also in your Eleventh House – are dates to watch. This community or circle of people could go in any direction then. Among them are old and new friends. It will be an education for you and also for them.

Uranus in Taurus, Your Secrets and Your Soul
Taurus is the sign which rules the Twelfth House of your solar chart. The Twelfth House describes what is hidden behind the scenes or deeply below the surface. It is the attic or the cellar of any home. It is the darkened windows of a car, or the drawn curtains in front of a window. We associate the cycle you are in, from March 7th, with a thorough flushing-out of these concealed places, both in your life, and also in yourself. Dreams and Tarot readings often reveal all. So, does counselling. There is also the more dramatic prospect of ‘no more secrets’ and that really depends on your personal birth chart. If you have factors at Pisces 13, 16, 19, 21 and 24 then the transits this month will trigger that. Most Gemini people are unlikely to have too much in Pisces in their natal horoscopes, so perhaps the issue in March is not so much the flushing out of what was covered up, or hidden – as the need to have a conversation with your own soul. This is a really powerful time for you. Digging deeply into all the nooks and crannies, no matter if you do it with a priest in confession, or with a quiet night and a candle, can be potent. Uranus has never been in this region of your astrological chart in your adult life, as I’ve said – unless you are very old indeed. Thus, everything will be new, unprecedented and quite unexpected. That can be invigorating. It can be challenging, but it can also be galvanising. Once you know who you are, where you are, and why you are – from the very core of your being – you can set about making decisions for 2019. Are you going to return to renovate and improve the old set-up or system? The old structure of your life? Or, Gemini, are you going to walk away without a backward glance towards a brand-new day?

Cancer

The Group, Community or Circle of Friends
Uranus, the planet of electricity, unpredictable events and unusual currents, moves into your zone of friends, groups, social media and communities on 7th March. This could go in any direction and take you anywhere. What is ‘this’ exactly? A new and different atmosphere. A much-changed set of circumstances. We associate Uranus with words like ‘buzz’ and terms like ‘high frequency’ and ‘electrifying’. We link this astrological symbol with the idea of feeling wired, among livewires. This is now the background music of your world. You will also read that Uranus is a symbol of eccentrics and bohemians. People who are unconventional or unusual. This comes from 1781, when the planet was discovered in the beautiful British city of Bath. Uranus was found by a German keyboard player who lived with his sister. They were both amateur astronomers and made their own telescopes. The sister, in particular, must have raised eyebrows. Her name was Caroline Herschel and King George III paid her a salary, to supply the telescopes. She was no Elizabeth Bennett. She was far more radical a being than anything Jane Austen ever invented. In the old Latin myths about Uranus, we find out that his children included Cyclopes (one-eyed monsters) and also Venus, the goddess of adultery, who was born by accident from her father’s blood and semen, mixed with seawater. Uranus brings everything and everybody that is unique, strange and frequently very exciting to behold. Venus arrived naked. If your chart suggests one thing in March, it is caution. Don’t dive into this. Put one foot in the water first. You have absolutely no idea who these people really are, or what you are in for. And it could be quite a trip.

The Pisces Experience
You have extreme Pisces weather in March. This zodiac sign rules your life as teacher, mentor and guide. As student, or student of life. It rules your journeys – every place you explore or move to. It is associated with the Worldwide Web for obvious reasons. Pisces, in its rulership of your Ninth House, also covers belief systems like Christianity, Buddhism and old hippie ideas like The Age of Aquarius, which brings in astrology. One thing you can say about March. It’s never going to be boring! Pisces weather does bring a few cautionary notes, though. You, or someone else, will be a fish out of water this month. A fish out of water is not a good thing, unless there is a really good reason to reel that fish in and take it. This brings us back to Uranus in your Eleventh House of community, social media, friendships and groups. You have to ask yourself if you, or another person, is in a natural element in March, or feeling suffocated by the wrong company and environment. That’s a really fair question.

Pooling Resources
There are some fascinating choices for you about pooling resources in March. Do you lose yourself, along with others, in a completely different group environment? It is the kind of departure which necessarily involves shedding all the usual trappings, boundaries, and identity markers. One does not hang on to one’s old self for very long with these people, as it all has to be left behind. There is a sense in March that everybody is in this together, or not at all. There may have to be a decision here about who belongs in the group and who does not. Who is in, and who is out? Pisces is the sign we associate with merging. With everybody being all over the place, everywhere, all the time. There simply are no boundaries with this kind of weather. People can get in over their heads. They can get lost. They can end up feeling confused and being confusing. This month really is about choices, though, and they will have to be made on a deadline, as some situations just cannot go on forever. Don’t just accept the most obvious yes/no binary option staring you in the face, Cancer. Where your friends and groups are concerned, you could afford to think outside the box and come up with some intensely creative, rewarding alternatives. One does not always have to plunge deeply inside the group, in order to travel in the same direction.

Leo

Your 2019 Personal Life, Parenthood and Partnerships Update
Leo, you experience Venus, Bacchus and Psyche in your opposite sign of Aquarius in March, which rules the Seventh House of your horoscope. The Seventh House describes your former, current or potential partner. At the same time, you have Jupiter and Ceres in your Fifth House, which rules your son or daughter, potential pregnancy, step-parenting, godchildren and young relatives. No wonder March is shaping up to be a big update and life review on everything and everybody that counts, emotionally. You have some housekeeping to do. Venus is a symbol of complicated relationships. She is a 2000+ year old goddess of passion and jealousy. In the Roman mythology from which astrology comes, Venus had a daughter-in-law and her name was Psyche. This month we find this pair circling the horoscope zone most associated with ex-lovers and ex-partners, but also the rebuilding of relationships for the future. In fact, Leo, what you cannot see – but I certainly can – is the life-changing possibilities of December 2020, when Jupiter and Saturn both enter Aquarius and your Seventh House. Further ahead, we find Pluto, which transforms your personal life, from 2023. March 2019 is the smallest beginning. It is no exaggeration to say, that what you choose to do now, affects your world for many years to come. The potential from Christmas 2020 is quite incredible. A new kind of home life, perhaps in a different house or apartment. An important bridge to cross. The beginning of the mini Age of Aquarius in your life shows commitment and also Moving On, capital M and capital O. What can you two create now? If you are single, what and who can be sorted out in your life, even if it belongs to the past? If your marriage is rocky, what lies ahead?

Looking Inside and Going Within
One of the things that will really work for you is time for yourself, so you can privately examine what you feel, how you feel and where this leaves you. Leo, for the first time since 2000, you have the Moon’s North Node in the sign of Cancer, which rules your hidden depths. We associate this cycle with the soul or spirit. With the unconscious. Dreams are quite influential and revealing in March. So is meditation, or a Tarot reading, or a session with a good medium. You are an unknown quantity in March. Hidden from view, you have work to do inside, so that you can find out who and what matters most to you, emotionally. This may also be a question about your deepest sexual needs. Questions about past pregnancies may be there, or perhaps current possibilities involving a son, daughter or other young face in your world. There may be some unfinished karmic business from the year 2000 to deal with, as the North Node describes the need for closure and settlement. This could also go back as far as 1981, Leo, because that is the next step backwards in the cycle of your soul’s balance sheet. You also have Ops in Cancer now, in the Twelfth House of your chart alongside the North Node. That’s a deeper message about the need to enquire within.

Repair and Reconstruct or Walk Away?
You have a clear choice in March. You can either fix things – mend broken or damaged bonds with other people – or walk away. A line from a great American classic applies here – ‘I’m here to remind you of the mess you left…’ Try not to leave a mess, even if you do decide to move on. There is absolutely no question here about Venus and her reputation for all that is toxic. She is a symbol of deep envy, and that envy can be damaging. She was jealous of her beautiful future daughter-in-law Psyche to the point where she made her own son Cupid part of her plots and plans. (It backfired and Psyche and Cupid fell in love). Leo, you could also reconstruct and repair what is there. The potential is there for a period of cleansing and renewal if you want it too. You have so many choices in March! You also need to come out of yourself (when the time is right) and this introspective Cancer Node cycle, so that you can get real about who you have, who you don’t have, what is there – and what or whom is precious, emotionally, to the point of being priceless. Stretching out before you is a hugely important new chapter from December 2020, as I’ve mentioned, which carries on beyond 2023. You’ll cross that bridge with your former, current or potential partner when you come to it. For now, you have some work to do. No other word for it. But – it could be so life-changing.

Virgo

Repair, Recovery and Rebirth
Virgo, you have been living with Chiron in your opposite sign of Pisces for many years. If you are curious about this horoscope symbol, please read the feature I wrote on Chiron, which clears up some of the myths (he was not ‘The Wounded Healer’ that you might read about). In fact, Chiron was a teacher. You have been taught unforgettable lessons about enemies, opponents and rivals for such a long time, that you are now well overdue for repair, recovery and rebirth. Classically, this may have involved a former partner, or perhaps the third person in a love triangle. The issue may have been your current wife’s former husband, a member of her family or just a jealous opponent. Perhaps you have an ex-husband who turned out to be against you. Perhaps your own wife became your strongest critic in the Chiron years, or you attracted other opposition in your career, no matter if you were stabbed in the back or suffered your Ides of March in quite another way. Rather than bore you with the long list of possibilities that Chiron in your opposite sign delivered, in this very new century, let’s look at the necessary restoration of your mind, body, spirit, heart and soul. It’s coming in March. We have Aquarius weather in your Sixth House, which rules sleep, meditation, dreams and rebalancing. It’s called recharging, in the sense that your batteries may be flat or dead. It is very clear from your horoscope that the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune may be far back in the past. Chiron has been in Pisces for a long time, and some things are history. Some feuds, attacks, criticisms or slings are dusty old museum pieces. Yet, they are part of who you are. You now need to move on from the person you were, and have been, towards the future. The future looks fascinating, because it clearly shows a symbolic parent-child relationship between you and another. It’s dazzling!

Parents and Children – Old and Young
Virgo, you currently have Pluto, Saturn and the South Node in Capricorn, in your Fifth House. This describes the relationship between parents and children, but also grandparents and grandchildren – even great-grandchildren. This zone of your chart is also about people who have no children in their lives and never will, but decide to teach, mentor or guide a younger generation. The Fifth House is also about miscarriage, termination, adoption, fertility and related issues like I.V.F. It is also very much about your godchildren, for whom you may one day become a substitute parent, and the generation gap that can be found in the Harry Potter series. Saturn is the planet that rules waiting games, patience and the miracle of time passed. When the time is right, for a brilliant, spiritual, colourful new connection with the young to be made – it will be made. Not before! Part of the renewal of this aspect of your life is connected with your own renewal. You have to rise again. I also mentioned Pluto. Pluto is about empowerment. This is potentially a powerful new part of your life. You also read that the South Node was in this same house of your chart, the Fifth House. The South Node describes karma from this and other lifetimes. There may be karma here, Virgo, from the year 2000 or 1981, when the South Node was last here. It may actually go back into previous lives, and it is not impossible that a younger face, in relation to you, was once your parent, or even a partner. Such things happen in astrology. If you are prepared to allow yourself to be born again and to reach for what could become real – life starts to look special again.

New Beginnings – Jupiter in Capricorn in 2020
You could easily have another child (or a first child) in the year 2020 and if so, the process would begin in December when Jupiter changes signs. You could also develop a special new relationship with an existing son or daughter, godchild, young group or grandchild – which takes things to the next level. Jupiter is a symbol of growth, hope, optimism, fulfilment, expansion and healing. From December 2019, when Jupiter moves into your Fifth House, everything looks brighter, more colourful and a sense that ‘God’s in his heaven, all’s right with the world’ is usually the result. To get to December successfully, you need to heal in March. Your own personal birth chart will reveal how next year manifests, in terms of its fantastic potential with you and younger people. You may take a voluntary role as a teacher’s aide, for example, or be given a godchild by a good friend. Perhaps you have in mind paid work involving children or Millennials. First, though – recovery, repair and rebirth. This is even more important if being a parent has been part of the battle, the feud or the sustained attack which you have put up with in the Chiron in Pisces years. If you have fallen out with your child, or if a child has been at the heart of a custody battle, or a thwarted pregnancy was part of the reason for a split – you can see why you are well and truly a candidate for healing! In March we see your ruler Mercury retrograde in your opposite sign of Pisces, along with the Sun, Neptune, Proserpina and Vesta. This all takes place in your Seventh House, where we find your former, current and potential partners – but also your enemies, rivals and opponents. No wonder you have so much to recall, to review and to come to terms with during the next 4 weeks. It’s a sustained flashback. This high-potential time for healing comes from transits in Aquarius (the Aquarius weather) which you will feel most deeply near March 2nd, 11th, 14th, 21st and 22nd. Are you a Premium Member? If you have Pisces factors in your personal birth chart, they are all triggered in March, and you may be in line for therapy or a therapeutic experience.

The Pisces Weather and Your Mind, Spirit and Body
At this time of year, the Pisces weather sweeps in. This year we find the Sun, Neptune, Proserpina (Pluto’s wife), Vesta (Saturn’s daughter) and Mercury Retrograde all in the sign of the fishes. I am sure you know that in astrology there is no separation between what your mental state does to your physical body, and what you carry physically – does to your mind. There is then the more mysterious matter of your very soul, core being or spirit. This month is the time to seek answers. To find a person who can help, or an organisation which has a solid reputation. You may find what you are looking for, through meditation, yoga, Pilates, Reiki, cognitive therapy, a counsellor or a doctor. In astrology, the zodiac sign Pisces rules the Sixth House of your solar chart, which is where you are given a chance to sort things out. This is important if your sleep is affected in any way at the moment. Libra, the great irony of your situation is that you have worked long and hard to get yourself the kind of bedroom which most people would love to curl up in, yet your horoscope suggests that until you fix your headspace, your actual living space or night-time environment doesn’t have much impact on you at all. You are, in fact, living in your head. Libra, you need to understand just why Pisces is the sign associated with imagination and particularly ‘mere figments’ of the imagination. It is also associated with distorted memories and anticipation of the future which puts you in Never Never Land. A great many things simply never happen. Keep it real this month. In fact, the astrological advice now would be to get real – and keep it real.

Chiron in Aries
Chiron is the teacher of astrology, and also of Roman mythology. He is usually painted or sculpted as the wise centaur, instructing Achilles in the use of the lyre. He also taught some herbal medicine to Aesculapius and was really a mentor and guide to so many heroes, that it’s no wonder you feel you are being taught by life at the moment. What you are being taught is useful, because even though Chiron is at the very beginning of his transit of your Seventh House of opposition, enemies and those against you – he can still show you so much. One of the first things you probably need to learn is that a great deal of what you were put through in the years that Uranus was in Aries, is now just a memory. This cycle dominated your feuds, contests, competitions and battles for many years – for roughly a decade. On March 7th that period in your life is history. Yet, you are no doubt carrying all kinds of mental images of what happened, or dealing with quite strong feelings, either situated around your heart chakra, or carried in your whole body. Don’t underestimate the massive shift now taking place as Chiron moves in and Uranus moves out. The new lesson is – that was then, this is now. Chiron’s first lesson should be about that.

Saturn, Pluto, the South Node and Your Home
It’s really unusual to see Saturn, Pluto and the South Node all in Capricorn, the sign which rules your house or apartment. Your four walls and the roof over your head has much more importance now. In fact, given that you have been slowly learning about willpower and self-control since 2008, purely through your domestic situation, property commitments and living environment, you might say your home is now a container for all sorts of emotions. It has come to represent an aspect of yourself. This may be why the new minimalism promoted by Marie Kondo – a variation on the original home-based energy work pioneered by Denise Linn and Karen Kingston – makes sense to you. Like bedroom, like brain! Like kitchen, like soul. March is a really good time to understand that your home has come to symbolise how in control you feel. How empowered you are. How much you feel you are running yourself and your life. There are ways of doing this even one more time, Libra. They will all involve self-discipline and willpower. They say, ‘you make your bed and you lie in it’ and it is the remaking of your bed, or just some aspect of your living space, perhaps, that is the key to you now.

Fortuna in Scorpio
Fortuna in Scorpio is about the natural rhythm of life with all its lows and highs. The wheel spins around in March and how you look, how you appear – how you present yourself – is really a matter of recycling yourself. Rejuvenating, repairing and resurrecting. Fortuna is the daughter of Jupiter, a symbol of luck, in astrology. The word ‘fortune’ obviously comes from her name and there is a little bit of luck in March – a fortunate little twist – that means, just like Doctor Who, you are about to find yourself in the right space-time continuum to emerge one more time, with likely quite a different look and attitude.

Uranus in Taurus – Opposition, Competition, Conflict
Uranus changes signs to your opposite sign of Taurus on 7th March, so the time has come to get the measure of who or what is against you. There is a second message here about the need for a timely healing process, and with Chiron in his new sign of Aries, in your zone of mind, body and spirit – healing is long overdue. You can’t do it alone. You are going to need some help. Once you are past this phase, you will move on to a completely different atmosphere. You might call it emotional and psychological climate change. This is down to the fact that these two slow-moving horoscope factors – one a symbol of a whole new existence – the other a symbol of life education – are shifting signs. This really doesn’t happen all that often so if it feels like you are ending one phase of your life and starting another, you are quite correct.

Chiron in Aries – Learning About Mind, Body and Spirit
Chiron is replacing Uranus in the Sixth House of your horoscope, dedicated to your mind, body and spirit. In astrology you can’t actually separate them. They work in triplicate. Chiron is a great teacher of many things – music, hunting and herbal medicine among them. As a general symbol of learning, teaching and wisdom he stands alone in your horoscope. It’s unusual to see him in the sign of Aries, which rules your need for healing and wholeness. Whatever comes your way in March, or whomever, will be a revelation and an education. You will learn what is possible. Chiron by his very existence defied people’s ideas about what was supposed to exist or could exist. He was, after all, a centaur. This month will show you that what is supposedly impossible can be quite possible, if you are determined, and if the right help comes along at the right time. Make that request. Groups and Friends
The Full Moon in Libra, in your zone of friends and groups, is accompanied by the asteroid Cupido, also in Libra, in March. This may be a professional organisation, a social media group, a charity, band, political party, trade union, community network or similar. The Full Moon falls on 21st March and it’s a moment of truth for all of you. There are no matchy-matchy perfect outcomes at that time, but you will all find a way to respect each other’s differences and diversity, while life rolls on. This assortment of people you find yourself in was never going to be uniform. That is part of its fascination for those who are watching. Cupido is about desire. Generating passion and also being subject to it, as well. It is possible that within this circle you will find a flirtation or relationship. Even if it’s all strictly platonic (apart from anything else, you may all be straight women!) there will still be a great deal of longing and tremendous lust for life taking place. There is also something to share and enjoy, here, which brings us to the South Node, Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn. I’ll look at that for you in a moment, but let’s also see what Chiron in his new sign of Aries is doing for you.

All for One and One for All
From 7th March you finish with a cycle which has disrupted your group commitments and loyalties for many years. This may have been any kind of circle or community of people at all, but it’s very likely you’ve quit, or made radical changes which have affected those people – and yourself – permanently. The reason for this is the long opposition of Uranus, the planet of the unique, unusual, unexpected and unconventional – right opposite your zone of solidarity, friendship and comradeship. In fact, one a month, for about the last 10 years, you have experienced Uranus in Aries opposite the Moon in Libra, and that has destabilised things on a regular basis. Now, Uranus is going – on March 7th. Chiron replaces him. In future the question between all of you will be ‘All for one? One for all?’ with some meaningful question marks. The constant upheaval or buzz of tension will disappear, to be replaced by quite a different, more thoughtful line of enquiry. How can quite different people, who need to unite, but also have their own way of seeing life – of moving through life – join forces? How can you all make it work? I mentioned the Full Moon on 21st March which will bring things to a head.

Abundance and Rewards
The Capricorn weather now suggests rewards from 2000 and 1981, and even further back – right into past lives. The good life is here if you want to reach for it. This feeling of abundance really comes from all that you did for others, by saving or making the money, a very long time ago. March feels like a harvest for you, either shared with your friends, or collected by you, a result of being in their world. Pluto is also here along with the South Node and that suggests empowerment. When you are abundant, you are also in control to some extent – you have the upper hand.

Capricorn

Working Hard and Making Steady Money
In March you will be working hard and making steady money. You may be on the production line at E.M.I. or making your own ceramic bowls, but there is a big emphasis on success, achievement, ambition and what it means. You experience a Full Moon in Libra on March 21st, in your Tenth House of career, study and unpaid roles and titles. This brings things to a head for you. This is particularly true if you were born on the first or second day of your sign, Capricorn, as the Full Moon will create what is known as a T-Square in your birth chart, with your natal Sun. No matter when you were born, very close to 21st March you need to look at why you work, how you work, when you work, and for whom you work. As Joe Strummer once suggested, ‘Who gives you work and why should you do it?’ There is another reason for this question. About two weeks before, Juno at 12 Gemini in your Sixth House of duty, service and daily routine is opposed by Ceres – on 13th March. Juno is an important part of the astrological family tree, as she is Jupiter’s wife and she symbolises commitment. Ceres is Pluto’s mother-in-law, so equally important. These two in an opposition, or tug-of-war, suggest that right at the end of the first fortnight of March, you need to look at how wedded you are to your job. It may even be full-time housework. How much of a promise have you made yourself and others? Money talks, too. Even if your full-time role does not involve a pay packet as such, there may be an allowance for duty done.

Money Talks in March 2019
Venus in Aquarius transits your Second House of values, valuable possessions, finance, houses, apartments, property investments and rent in March. Apollo, Jupiter’s son, is at the other end of your chart, in the Eighth House of loans, credit cards, mortgages, debts and big-picture banking. Money really talks this month, but as you are not a machine, it is also a good time to look at what you are actually achieving or accumulating, in return for all your effort and energy. Does it add up? This brings us to the question of property, accommodation and related issues like holiday homes, business premises and so on.

Your House, Apartment, Property Investment or Holiday Home Beyond 2019
On March 7th, the potential future of your own home or property investment starts to matter more. On that day, you end the long cycle of Uranus, the planet of constant change, in your Fourth House of real estate, houses, land and apartments. The years of unpredictable living are over. This has also affected the status quo with your household, landlord or landlady, immediate family, extended family and so on. This is a big shift and in place of Uranus, you now have Chiron, the teacher. There is an awful lot to learn about bricks and mortar over the next few years and March is really the turning point. There are so many different ways this could go for you now, but as you know – in a typically down-to-earth, practical, plodding, Capricorn way – nothing can really begin without the money, and money does not grow on trees. You make it.

Aquarius

Fairness, Justice, Equality and Harmony
We have a Full Moon in Libra, the sign of the scales, on 21st March. You probably know that Libra is associated with fairness, justice, equality and harmony. It often brings issues to court, or there is a fair hearing on a spiritual level. No barristers, judge, jury or lawyers required – instead, just a higher power. This particular Full Moon falls opposite the Sun in areas of your horoscope associated with beliefs, philosophy, faith, core ideas and opinions. So, this is an intellectual exercise as much as anything else. Or, it directly appeals to your soul. Sometimes you have to let the process happen and hand things over, so that someone (or something) bigger than both of you – or both sides – can weigh it all up. Aquarius, this may be about a story which goes all the way back to the Leo Node and Eclipse weather you experienced between May 2017 and November 2018, when the North Node entered your opposite sign. (This cycle is very much about who or what is opposite you or opposing you). You have a reminder about that in March 2019, as Apollo is in Leo. Let’s take a closer look.

The Leo Weather – Opposite Aquarius
Apollo, a symbol of leadership, example and inspiration is now in your opposite sign of Leo. This helps you and the other person, or other side, to accept that someone or something must now take the lead, and you must follow. Normally this would not be a very big deal. Yet, because Apollo is arriving hard on the heels of a Leo eclipse on 21st January 2019, there is obviously a big back story here. This is most likely with your former, current or potential partner. It may also be about your enemy, opponent or rival. In fact, the back story involves a series of eclipses, which are always blind spots. You had an epic eclipse to deal with, regarding this person or this organisation, on 21st August 2017, which was The Great American Eclipse. It is in the nature of these things that you just won’t see or know for months, or years, after the fact – what you missed at the time. We had another one in January 2018, then another in August 2018 – and as you’ve seen, the last one only just fell in January, a couple of months ago. No wonder March is so important. You might call it a reckoning up. Aquarius, there is still so much that is behind the scenes, under wraps or behind the screens. It would not be unusual to say, you’ll just never, ever know the real, full picture. Sometimes you just have to accept what is – and move on.

The Ninth House of Your Horoscope

As this Full Moon falls in the Ninth House of your horoscope, you may want to know more about this zone of your solar chart. It’s about principles. It’s only when you travel internationally, or deal with people from other countries and cultures, in your own life, that you realise how radically different other people’s principles are. This is why the Ninth House is associated with both beliefs and philosophies, but also foreign people and places, or cultural differences. The Ninth House is traditionally ruled by Sagittarius in the zodiac and its ruler Jupiter is thus associated with it too. Jupiter, to the Romans who gave us our astrology, was Optimus Maximus. The biggest and the best. He was the supreme god who ruled over all others and if there was a moral dilemma or ethical problem, Jupiter would decide, and justice would prevail. Some or all of this may start to make sense in your life as you see the Full Moon overhead towards the end of March. If you are dealing with an old career enemy and he is being brought to justice, for example, it may be because he is from a dramatically different culture or country whose morals, philosophies or beliefs are at odds with your own. He may even be from your country but adopted another culture’s way of seeing life. Sometimes politics can be a creed, as much as your own spirituality is a creed. The Full Moon has work to do. This may be intensely personal, too, as so many Aquarian marriages or relationships were hit by that Leo cycle. It’s time.

Cupido (Cupid) and Your Former, Current or Potential Partner
Cupido, better known as Cupid, is the son of Venus in astrology. As you probably know, she is the goddess of complicated relationships. Like mother, like son. In March you must deal with the realities of a situation which affects your heart and challenges you to rethink what is taking place and take practical steps to deal with it. It may help to look at the Cupid myth, as all astrology is based on Roman/Latin storytelling and history. Essentially, his mother Venus, who was beautiful but also vain, was jealous of a stunning woman named Psyche, and forced her famous son, Cupid, to play a trick on her. Cupid was to present Psyche with a hideously ugly man (or monster, in some stories) and shoot her with his arrow. His poisoned dart, which meant anyone wounded, would fall heavily and instantly in love with the person in front of them. Cupid got it wrong, tripped over, and accidentally pierced himself with his own weapon. He fell in love with Psyche and Venus’s jealousy intensified. In the end, Cupid and Psyche won. You can see the sculpture in The Louvre. Thus, we associate Cupido with lovers, with the reality of any relationship between a mother and son, but also about the chemistry between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law too. It’s complicated! Perhaps true passion always is. You can’t really experience the full power of the human heart unless you also experience its more challenging side, too. And in March, that is putting it politely.

The North Node in Cancer
Cupid passes through the Seventh House of your solar chart in March, in the sign of Virgo, which is right opposite you. Normally this would not be such a big deal, but you also have karma to deal with (from the past) and karma to avoid (for the future) with a son, daughter, godchild, niece, nephew or grandchild. Perhaps with stepchildren, or another deep concern with younger people – schoolchildren or Millennials – which somehow affects your love life as well. This is the North Node in Cancer cycle, which always returns you to the past. In fact, Pisces, there may be a flashback to the year 2000 or even 1981, depending on your personal birth chart. What does the North Node in Cancer do? Well, in your Fifth House, it urges you to take the lead. To set an example. This may be an I.V.F. process or a classic child custody battle. It may just be the fact that your former husband has fallen in love with a woman who has a child from a previous marriage. However, March manifests for you, Pisces, it is important to pull out. To realise you are part of the narrative. Without you, things would be different. If you can extract yourself, no matter how perfectly the stage is set for conflict, you will be at least giving one heart, two hearts or perhaps three hearts – a chance to heal. It is very important that you are honest with yourself about the extent to which you are propping up what is going on. There is no rule that says you have to stay engaged, though. Maybe that has two meanings.

On the 18th of March the Sun opposes Cupido which is when it will all be perfectly clear. On 29th March Proserpina will also oppose Cupido at 24 Virgo. Thus, you might say, the second half of the month is a time of reckoning. A situation like this can go on for months. Years. It relies upon the attack and defence mechanisms of all those involved, including you, to sustain it. If just one of you stops playing the game, the game would merely struggle on. You have to ask yourself how invested you are in this. Do you want, need and crave it? Is it good for you?
