Aries, on Boxing Day last year I gave you the Mercury Retrograde dates for June 2021, so you had six months to pre-plan and avoid travel, and important launches with the internet, the media, education or publishing. If you must proceed, because other people don’t use astrology, have Plan B, C and D as back-up in June and July. The cycle ends on July 7th.
This month is excellent for first and second attempts; research; homework; beta-testing.
Old Karma from 2002, 1984
Near Tuesday, June 1st, old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984 returns. Life will feel awfully familiar. Perhaps this is a short journey you took in 2002 or 1984. Maybe it’s a project or course from that time. The karma is neither good nor bad; it is what it is. You will be on a loop then.
There is a cover-up and blind spot near Thursday the 10th of June, on the eclipse. You will not see it and will not know about it – but the astrology cautions against taking a particular path with the internet; short journeys; the media; publishing; education. Why? It’s like driving with both headlights broken. You could be on a blind alleyway for years, if you act on the 9th, 10th, 11th of June.
The following day after the actual eclipse, Friday, June 11th, you will see a reversal, delay or piece of rescheduling. Allow until July 7th for this story to be final. This is Mercury Retrograde at work and you will be taken back to discussions or paperwork from May 19th, 20th this year which won’t be fully resolved until July 3rd and 4th.
COVID-19 Closures, Cancellations
This month seems COVID-19 related to me. There will be a chain of cancellations and closures involving the airline, cruise, train and vacation industries. There will likely be instant shutdowns of particular airports or airport hub cities. Fortunately, I was able to give you the warning dates back on Boxing Day 2020, so you’ve known about this for a while.
The trip you plan, or the project/course/product you work on, will become absolutely central to you in August 2021, as Ceres in Gemini from Sunday 1st August until December 21st shows plenty of compromises and deal-making. You will all/both come out of this period feeling more empowered, with a completely different situation ahead for 2022, regarding how you travel, how you use the internet, how you teach or study and how you publish.

You have a new deal with the money, shares, business, house, apartment or charity ahead of you, when you go through the long Ceres in Gemini transit from Sunday, August 1st until December 21st, 2021. The carve-up of control, but also the assets, debts or finances (perhaps the valuables) is sustained.
You will all/both be in a better place at Christmas, regarding this. Until then, you must get through June, with all its reversals, delays and retracted statements. June is a good month for ‘wait and see’ and first attempts at what will ultimately be the future of your finances, Taurus. This may involve taxation if you are at the end of the financial year.
Negotiating and Bargaining
From Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, you will be living with Ceres in Gemini, so this is about your values, as much as anything else. Who or what you will compromise over, financially? Who or what is so precious to you, it is priceless. What you refuse to sell your soul for. What you will not budge on (refusing to budge on price is very Taurean). What comes out of this five-month period will be with you for a really long time and will need to withstand the radical changes which come after 2026, but that’s another story.
All this is in the air on Tuesday the 1st of June as you are taken back to old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984. You’ll be repaid – or pay back – perhaps both, as the month begins. If you’re not keen on the repetition (how many times have you seen this before in your life?) just remember that looking back at the past can help you put it all in perspective, Taurus.
New Moon Eclipse – Blind Spot
On Thursday, June 10th, we have an eclipse, which you need to avoid, financially. The New Moon is a new beginning with your bank, or the business end of life, but you will not see – what you should be seeing. You will possibly have the x factor in plain sight but miss it completely. That’s fine. History and astrology tell us, just sidestep June 9th, 10th, 11th on this eclipse, allowing the world to catch up with itself. There may be a cover-up.
As if that wasn’t enough, we have Mercury (paperwork, discussion) going backwards the whole time. You’ll get the final numbers and details in the story by July 7th at the very latest, Taurus, but prepare for a state of flux this month. It will be there on share markets – and of course in your own life. Beyond that, Mercury is associated with mistaken reporting; paperwork flaws; computer error. As a general rule you may just want to double-check your basic banking and business/property arrangements and have some kind of safety net or back-up. It will be more obvious to you near Friday 11th June. Try to avoid that date, for any new beginnings. Mercury Retrograde has a funny habit of tripping us up, and you may also have Gemini factors in your personal birth chart, so you can double that message, if so, Taurus.
The ‘re’ rule applies all month. So, you may find yourself dealing with retracted statements, announcements or promises. Be aware of that with the really big item stuff in your life; pensions, superannuation, investments. On a global level we will see some huge throwbacks and stalemates with the Gemini-ruled industries, like information technology and public transport, but also airlines. I’d say that even without a pandemic.
This creates a chain-reaction around the world and as Mercury has long been associated with merchants, merchandising, the market – you can bet your bottom dollar that you’ll be marooned or pedalling backwards with the delivery of an item (say) or a contract.
The great advantage of June 2021 is that it buys you time to rethink. To go over old ground. To come up with a better answer after July 7th. However, people may go back on their word, Taurus, so be aware of that. And remember that long bargain and new deal, in the second half of 2021.

Gemini, all this shop-window stuff is supposed to be merely superficial, but you know yourself how massively important it is, to appear a certain way. To be regarded in a certain light. In June 2021, just after your birthday or approaching it, you find yourself dealing with major questions here, about matters of name, title and profile.
From Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, Ceres in Gemini will be with you, and this cycle is about trade-offs regarding how you look. This may be weight loss for some Gemini people. For others, it may be reputation rehabilitation. All this long negotiating with other people, (perhaps) websites – takes time. It’s really the whole thing. Not just your hair, face, shape style – also your standing in the world.
On Tuesday the 1st of June old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984 comes back to you. Maybe you are owed, spiritually, by other people. Perhaps you owe others, Gemini. The over-familiarity of the situation close to June 1st will be obvious to some people born under your sign (it is a literal repetition of the past) and need more thought for a different group of Gemini people. The story is the same, though. If it makes no sense, it is because in astrological terms, you are catching up with very, very long ripple effects from long-ago tides.
Please avoid the New Moon Eclipse on Thursday. June10th. Especially if your birthday is the 9th, 10th, 11th of June and your Sun is very close to 19 degrees of Gemini where this eclipse falls.
Whatever your birthday, it’s a blind spot about yourself. Walk on by. You also have Mercury Retrograde in Gemini all month, but he circles pretty close to that eclipse, so all the ‘Me’ issues (having your business card printed or launching a website with your name) should be treated as a dress rehearsal. Let’s be realists. Mercury rules you, Gemini, and he’s stuck, going backwards, in Gemini – your own sign.
June is really good for ‘me’ rehearsals and beta-testing. For speculating, researching, making notes and carrying an eraser. Later on, the whiteboard of your life can stick, in regard to yourself, after July 7th. The major negotiating about how the world perceives you comes from August-December, as I said. June is a preamble, and it could cost you time, energy, maybe more – as you’ll go back and forth. So, bear that astrology in mind.

Cancer, from Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, you have Ceres in Gemini and the inner life (the private soul you possess, or the spiritual side of your personality) is at the heart of some really long changes. Maybe your deal will be with God. Perhaps the negotiations go on with a counsellor; therapist; self-help professional. Given that this is an astrology website, your interest may be in your chart, or the Tarot, or a psychic.
The Twelfth House of your solar chart is given over to that odd reality (the unreality or alternative reality) which exists with your soul or spirit. The astral body. Your chakras and aura. Your etheric self. This is really where the religion comes in. Yet, this transit is so personal it would be reasonable to think about a psychiatrist or dream coach as much as a priest or rabbi.
On Tuesday, the 1st of June old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984 returns. Maybe this is the church you grew up with; perhaps it’s about your inner workings from that time. There is some unfinished business here.
The New Moon Eclipse on Thursday, June 10th and the days either side, are best avoided. You just cannot see who or what is in front of your face, then. This may involve spiritual matters, or a question for your inner self, or private soul. Possibly, your psyche. Eclipses conceal, they never reveal.
Born around July 11th, 12th, 13th? The period around the 10th of June may be a real blind alley for you, in terms of your psyche, soul or spirit so be aware – of what you are likely unaware of. It goes without saying that you would not mess around with the lower astral.
The nature of your soul, psyche or spirit is deep and it takes a long trawl to really get there and change it. That is why June matters. You will be held up, sent backwards, or find yourself on hold until July 7th. This is really clear near Friday 11th June as Mercury Retrograde becomes more obvious to you. A really basic example is a large religious gathering, which has to be cancelled or postponed, because (say) Indian Covid catches people out. The facts of life are the pandemic and large indoor gatherings are incompatible. And for lots of you, that will be (say) a big New Age festival, even if it’s outdoors, or a Roman Catholic Mass. You get the picture. You’re shifting on the inside in the second half of 2021 and part of that is down to the delays or rescheduling in June.

From Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st this year, Ceres in Gemini guarantees a change in the balance of power within one or more groups – perhaps with one friend. Friends and groups are the focus for the reshuffling and musical chairs. This may be a political party where there are actual moves down, out, up or sideways (for example). Or, Leo, this may be less formal and more subtle, so that there is a long shift in the controls and influences among you both/you all, and you have to sort out a compromise over the power with a friend, and others in the team, club, society, association and so on.
On Tuesday, June 1st, your ruler the Sun brings back karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984. You may be owed, or you owe. You will feel the classic Groundhog Day sensation as June begins, anyway, and realise you’ve been here before. You’ve seen it all before. That will help you sort out your response.
Avoid the New Moon Eclipse on Thursday the 10th of June and give yourself a day either side. Again, this is your ruler, the Sun, involved in a blind spot or cover-up. You will not see, and cannot know, what is really going on. This may be social media like Twitter, or a friendship which exists in the real world too. The circle or community of allies and some good friends is the source for some kind of blotting out of what would normally be seen.
The following day – Friday, June 11th – again sees your ruler the Sun caught up in Mercury Retrograde. Leo, you may want to write off life until July 7th as a long rehearsal and beta-testing period, with so many cancellations and shifting sands within the circle, or with a friend. There may be computer or telephone issues; travel cancellations; other X factors. Treat June as the useful (invaluable) prep time for what is to come later, as it won’t really be until August that you can see what’s what and who is where. From that point forward comes the massive, ongoing change within the circle, and particularly with 1-2 friends. What you really want to do is leave things in a good position for August so that you can pick up the loose threads in July and weave something handy in August-December.

From Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st this year, brings one of the longest reshuffles of your life at work; with unpaid work; at college/university. There will be promotions, demotions and sideways moves. Exits and entrances. Ceres in Gemini is really about doling out responsibility, control and power very differently. This may even be your entire profession or industry. The pandemic is one reason, of course, but I would be saying this anyway, without the global impact. You are having quite a sizeable rethink about your aims, goals, roles and ambitions, starting in June. By Christmas, which is classically when people retire, resign, apply for new posts – it’s over.
Tuesday, June 1st begins the month with some old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984. This is a pretty rare cycle and so the sense that 2021 is not like other years, professionally (or with your other projects and roles) is quite accurate. You are now being asked to think back – hopefully remembering what passed in 2002 and/or 1984 and understanding that some tides of time are beyond your control. You can’t stop waves and ripples from the long past, coming back to your shore.
The New Moon Eclipse on Thursday the 10th of June is unhelpful so please avoid it. Factor in a day either side, to let the world catch up with itself. An eclipse does what you would expect. It blots out. It conceals. It covers up. It leaves you in the dark! As this is your career, unpaid work or studies, you may prefer not to make huge judgement calls then or take dramatic action. A blind alley is not what you want to drive up.
You are ruled by Mercury so on Friday, June 11th you’ll doubtless find Mercury Retrograde more obvious to you. In fact, this cycle began on May 15th, so you will now be returned to the previous month, as you retrace your steps or deal with others reversing, retracting statements or rescheduling. Mercury rules the media. The internet. Paperwork and post. Technology and gear. When this planet appears to stall so do plans. It ends on July 7th.
The useful thing about June is the enforced life review. Because you will be held up for days, even weeks, you will need to sit on your hands and take a good long look at what success means to you, this year. Given that you are going to be involved with a game of musical chairs in your chosen field, August-December, you may as well set your priorities correctly. Figuring out your absolute bottom line, or what you are prepared to give way over, will help. June affords you that chance. Have Plan B, C and D in June, as the paper trail, digital trail or discussion is likely to go backwards and forwards. People tend to go back on their word on Mercury Retrograde or the plane/train stops (the one with the package on board). I am sure you know the score. June is rehearsal time. Your interests in foreign people or places come to the fore after Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st, 2021 and there will be a sweeping compromise, Libra. This may be because of the new rules on quarantine and border closures, as well as home stay – or for quite a different reason. Ceres in Gemini is in the Ninth House of your solar chart, which in the old days used to signify sea voyages. Today it is flights, or the Zoom network on the worldwide web. The second half of 2021 will see a change in the balance of power and a carve-up of the controls. There may well be a new carve-up of nations.
The road into this begins on Tuesday, June 1st and there is some old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984. You may be owed, or you may owe others. “What goes around, comes around. What comes around, goes around.” Sometimes it’s literal, so the location of your old gap year break may return, or a foreign connection you had forgotten finds you online. The karma ends in January 2022 but until then you may feel stuck in a loop. For some Libra people this will involve a book; website; course; qualification.

This is a cover-up or blind spot on your part. It is very likely that big wheels are turning with the European Union, for example, and you may not see those wheels or even have a single thought about the clockwork. Later on, when all becomes clear, light dawns. Until then, astrology and history tell you that you may be completely unaware of what is actually going on.
Friday the 11th of June shows you the other side of this unusual month. That’s cancellations, rescheduling or protracted delay – again with foreign people and places, books and websites, academia or education. Fortunately I was able to warn you about this back on Boxing Day 2020 here, Libra. So, using the Mercury Retrograde dates, you were able to sidestep the 15th of May to the 7th of July for your trips, launches and so on.
If you are stuck on a loop, have Plan B, C and D behind you and use June as a rehearsal.
It’s a very good time to mull over your options for future holidays, if you are lucky enough to be in a Zero Covid airport hub, going to another Zero Covid airport hub. It’s also a really good month for rehearsing plans for a book or website (for example) as the Ninth House rules publishing in digital and traditional format. June is also ideal for rough sketches and first drafts; research and homework; fact-finding missions.
The point is, the story will change once or twice by July 7th, so if you have the luxury of playing for time, you can actually modify and ultimately improve on the first plan.

This is the most important part of the year for financial fact-finding missions, Scorpio. This may be about your house, apartment, shares, pension, business, charity, superannuation or valuables. Between Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, Ceres in Gemini suggests a grand compromise between yourself and he/she/they so tied into your situation. This may be about an inheritance, or about the realities of marriage or professional partnership. Ceres tends to come with complication, as feelings run high, and that makes sense, as you are an emotional water sign. There is typically a tremendous sense of entitlement when she appears, but the cycle that begins on the 1st of August can be made a very great deal easier in June, by sticking to the astrological rules.

It’s rather like looking into a mirror to see what is there with your finances, property and the rest – but not seeing a true reflection, as the eclipse leaves you in the dark. Skip June 9th, 10th, 11th (allow a day either side for the world to catch up with itself) for big judgements or dramatic decisions, if you can. History and astrology tell us that the reality is often hidden in plain sight on eclipses and making assumptions on what is ‘there’ can be a blind alley that goes on for years.
So, what is June good for, then? Research. Testing. Trial and error, in a safe way that does not cost you money or time. Contemplation and first drafts. Sketches and ideas, without action. Why? Mercury Retrograde is here too, in your Eighth House of sex, death and money. (This is classically the legacy you rewrite, with your eyes on the distant future, or the legacy that is left to you, say, by great-grandparents – again – years into the future).
Friday the 11th of June will show you exactly why things are in flux, in your country and around the world. This puts you in flux, too. In fact, you may be sent all the way back to May and still not really be out the other end, until the first week of July at the latest. Yet, June is unbeatable as a time to go back over old documents, to uncover old paperwork, retrace old emails and so on.

The focus in the second half of the year will be on a duet or duel, Sagittarius. From Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, Ceres in Gemini is with you, so the seesaw or the set of scales, is your priority. This person may be your wife, husband, professional partner. Boyfriend, or girlfriend. Sometimes the duet is more unusual, so two people sharing a home in a platonic friendship counts. You’ll know who the other face is. We are going to see a carve-up of the controls between the pair of you. The duet or duel (this may be some kind of conflict or rivalry) is obvious in June, and how you handle life in June, dictates how the second half of 2021 is going to be for you.
So, to begin at the beginning, on Tuesday, June 1st, old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984 is back with you. This may concern the person in question in quite a literal way. So, if you and your husband had a baby in 2002, that’s the story.
It is more likely to be symbolic and thematic, so going back to 2002 and/or 1984, depending on your age, you find uncannily similar stories taking place, in your past, around the question of duels or duets.
Skip the New Moon Eclipse on Thursday, June 10th which is unhelpful. I have no idea why so many ‘astrologers’ on the internet spend their time jumping up and down, and clapping their hands in the air, when eclipses arrive. They do what they say on the packet. They blot things out. They cover things up. They leave you in the dark.
Allow a day either side for that eclipse and try not to go haring off on the wrong path with that other person. I have thousands of comments from readers of this website, gathered over many years, and my favourite example of an eclipse (in the cycle you are now having) is the woman who fell obsessively in love with a man who was tall, dark, handsome – and led her on for years, following the eclipse – because he was secretly gay and openly acting the part of a straight, single, available man. It happens.
Sagittarius, eclipses are not negative or positive, they just are what they are. Don’t be fooled. If you can make up your mind or take action with/about this person any time, do it another day.
Friday, June 11th shows you an unravelling story with your duet or duel, taking you all the way back to May, when it was never really confirmed, and then forward in time, to the end of the first week of July, when you will ultimately know where things stand. Until then Mercury Retrograde tells you to have Plan B, C, D with paperwork, discussion, and even the telephone or computer. Even the post can misbehave on Mercury Retrograde.
June is an excellent month to prepare for August-December when you two sort things out. June gives you enforced thinking time. Because nothing will go as planned, Sagittarius, you will have to sit on your hands and explore your feelings. Your ideas. You should give yourself the luxury of changing your mind (Mercury Retrograde literally translates in astrology as the changing mind) and kick back and think about your options. In a way, June does you a favour. You may be madly in love and thinking about moving in with your new boyfriend, or parting company with your old work partner, but June is prep time for August-December. This is prep best done in a notebook with an eraser.

Everything happens quite intensely and in a concentrated way, with your workload, daily routine, fitness, health, lifestyle, duties and service to others, in the second half of 2021. So, from Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, you can expect to see a reshuffle of rights, roles and responsibilities with your work, unpaid work or university/college course. It’s foreshadowed in June, which is a month of false starts, delays and rescheduling.
This also applies to housework, gardening, full-time caring, full-time parenting and other unpaid work. In June you are set up for a sweeping transformation, August-December, when the controls will be shared in a very different way.
Tuesday, June 1st brings old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984. You may find that it is literal, so the old employer/staff members turn up again in your life and some kind of spiritual settlement is required. Or, it may be symbolic, Capricorn. This includes medical examination; dentistry; pharmaceuticals; employment; unemployment benefits; furloughing – in fact, all areas of life which relate to the mind, body and spirit, as it must function in order for you to be fit for purpose. That purpose is your service to others, no matter if you are paid for it, or not. Why skip the eclipse? It’s a blind spot. Allow a day either side.
Friday the 11th of June reminds you of a basic truth about June. It’s good for testing. For trial. For ‘wait and see’ until an ultimate verdict from July 7th. Yet, Mercury Retrograde (more obvious near June 11th) is not that great for rock-solid, reliable paperwork, discussion, plans or negotiations. On the most basic level you may have to rethink your original ideas about a project or task. The pandemic will have its part to play in that, as politicians and businessmen have for some inexplicable reason chosen Mercury Retrograde to go full steam ahead with travel re-opening.
June is terrific for notebook-and-pencil research, potential scoping, homework on the new discoveries about immunity, internet pre-planning. All of this really helps so much when you go into August-December. For a lot of Capricorn people there will be demotions, promotions, mergers to cope with then. You will be pleased you were forced to do nothing in June except come up with possible answers, then have the luxury of striking them out and replacing them later.

Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st, 2021 is a keynote period for parenthood-potential sexual relationships, babies, infants, schoolchildren, teenagers, and Millennials. There will be new child custody arrangements for a high percentage of Aquarians then. In other cases, the likely target is school or college/university as there will be reshuffles and big changes in the controls, and of course that may affect you as a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, godparent.
This cycle can be professional as well as personal. Perhaps your audience is Millennial, or you teach children. It can work on that level. Again, Aquarius, it is August-December that will see some kind of carve-up and everyone will land in a very different place for 2022.
Ceres in Gemini is something to be reckoned with, in the second half of this year, but you can make your life easier by preparing the ground correctly.
On Tuesday the 1st of June old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984 returns. This may in fact be the year a particular child was born. Perhaps a pregnancy did not go to term that year, or a story developed involving godchildren, or a teenage football team you coached. You will have your own story. There is a spiritual reckoning-up required near June 1st, from the past.
The New Moon Eclipse on Thursday, June 10th is a rather deceptive fresh start, with the world of parenthood-potential relationships; babies; children and so on. If you are going for adoption and could do it any time, you may prefer to steer clear of that eclipse. Whatever is going on around you with a younger generation then, or the potential for birth, remember an eclipse is a cover-up or blind spot. People classically have no insight into their own behaviour at such times. I’ll give you an example. Captain Cook saw more eclipses than any other man of his century. He thought he was an explorer. Actually, he was colonising for King George III and he ultimately paid for it with his life. A lot of indigenous landowners suffered through his ‘exploration’. He saw a lot of eclipses through his telescope and in astrology terms, had no insight whatsoever into what he was actually doing, to the people in countries like New Zealand and Australia. There are so many examples of eclipses in history that space does not allow, but if you are curious, look them up on Search.
Suffice to say, there will be so many changes August-December involving younger people, that you may want to get it right, in June. On Friday, the 11th of June, Mercury Retrograde is plain and obvious. At that point, school arrangements (for example) may shift, or there may be other developments which require a total rethink of what you had assumed was stable, back in May.
This also applies to dating divorced men with children, for example, or interns at work, in their teenage years. Every Aquarian will have her/his own story.
The month of June is superb for research (only) and for some light investigation into your options. It’s a really good time to take a deep breath and look at the whole issue of the children or teenagers in your life. Apart from anything else, small people grow into adults, and from 2026, when Uranus (the revolution) goes into Gemini (your offspring or godchildren, young relatives or ‘pretenders to the throne’) there’s change afoot.
How much change? You have no idea. It will be radical. Yet, for now, you are in the cosy position of being made to wait, or rethink, or cancel, or reschedule in June. This buys you time to peer into the future and to get real, perhaps, about matters you’ve not been realistic about.

June is about your family, house, apartment, household, town and/or country, Pisces. This comes ahead of a tremendous reshuffle of faces, places and spaces, set to unfold from Sunday, August 1st until Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, with Ceres in Gemini.
For a high percentage of Pisces people this will be a new relationship for a son or daughter, which transforms a mother’s role. In other cases, there will be a compromise ahead, which shares out the access so very differently, with offspring, in the light of new custody, or other new arrangements.
This is a literal reading of Ceres in Gemini. For the vast majority of Pisces people, the second half of the year is about the symbolic nature of this transit. It’s about carving up control and power. Empowering those who had nothing at all. Forcing those who have too much of it, perhaps, to strike a deal with each other. You tend to see this sort of thing if a family member has departed, and the balance of power alters. You also see it in shared households where someone moves out/in – or there is a change in the stakes, for whatever reason.
More broadly, your local government, council and national or regional government may become an issue, August-December as you see demotions, departures, promotions and mergers. All this has an impact on where you live.
Tuesday the 1st of June genuinely begins the month with this theme, parked in front of you. It may be about your ancestors; family tree; mother; son. It may be about the actual house, garden, apartment, land or other residence. Perhaps both.
Pisces, some old karma from September-October 2002 and March 1984 is back in your life. This may have been when a family member married into your clan, or a child was born. Perhaps someone passed away or moved out. Shared households from those years also carry karma.
You are owed, or you owe. Perhaps both. There may also be clanging moments of truth about your local region, town or country from those years. Pisces, looking back at the past can help the present and future. Expect to be on a loop or circuit with this until January 2022, when it lifts, as the Nodes reverse into other zodiac signs.
The New Moon Eclipse on Thursday, June 10th is best avoided for family, house, apartment, household, town, country decisions or action plans. An eclipse is a cover-up and blind spot. You fail to see what is in front of you, because something or someone is being dutifully concealed. My favourite example of this, if we are talking about families, is the wedding of Lady Diana Spencer, as she was then to Charles, Prince of Wales. Camilla Parker-Bowles was visible in the congregation, but nobody noticed her. They were all looking at Diana. So was she. So was Charles. That wedding took place near two eclipses.
Eclipses are neither good nor bad, they just put you in the dark, so why would you buy an apartment then, if you could do it any time, or sort out a family wedding?
Friday, June 11th is an eye-opening Mercury Retrograde moment, again with your home or clan, or your place in the world. Hopefully, you noted the Mercury Retrograde dates I gave you on Boxing Day 2020, so you are not going to be caught up now. This is not the time to renovate, redecorate, organise the family (at school, for example), figure out your vacation with your son (if you are ignoring epidemiologists) and so on – unless you have Plan B, C, D.
Mercury has been retrograde since May, in the shadow, which a lot of astrologers don’t really understand, so they don’t give you the correct dates. History and astrology tell us, always use the shadow.
What this means is, what was ‘fixed’ in May with home or family, town or country, is not fixed. It never was. June will be a month of re-runs, retracted promises, rethinking and second or third attempts.
June is superb for thoughtful pauses. For rough sketches of architectural plans in a notebook (never the foundation stone) and for a little light internet research about family matters. Give yourself time and space to get it wrong, or for things to change, so that when July arrives, you are ready to go from the 7th.
A classic example of what I’m talking about, would be the opening up of your local town, as politicians and businessmen get it hopelessly wrong, and the reversal of that decision with a 24-hour warning. Let’s say your builder lives locally and has to stay at home. It goes on…
I’m pleased you have the dates from December last year anyway, and if you missed them, look up Mercury Retrograde on Search. June is rehearsal time. First draft and second draft of the family tree you are writing. Whatever you have in mind, keep a notebook, pencil and eraser and from August-December when the real work begins, you’ll have covered so much ground.
