Travel, Publishing, Internet, Education, Foreigners
You will be sent back to karma from April 2002 near Friday, December 11th, 2020, as the Sun is opposite the North and conjunct the South Node. That karma is a return, perhaps a reward, maybe a settling-up or balancing act. It will involve travel and travellers; foreign places and foreigners; emigration and export; publishing and the internet; media and transportation; education and academia.
What you are owed, or what you owe, from April 2002 will return near Friday the 11th of December and it may come partly as a result of what happens worldwide – say – with the International Criminal Court. Everything has a trickle-down effect on you. So, for example, this may be about Russia and Russians.
You’re going to see big announcements on visas, residency, quarantine, airlines, cruise ships and so on, in December and this will have an impact on your own life.
Similarly, the world of publishing, the internet, the media, education and academia will be vulnerable to huge changes as 2020 ends and this will also affect you.
This story about old 2002 ripples from the past, making waves today, continues near Monday. December 14th, 2020, as Mercury opposes the North Node, and conjuncts the South Node. This is also the day of a Solar Eclipse New Moon in Sagittarius, so don’t judge or act.
An eclipse is always a blind spot (yours) or a cover-up job, so you may want to steer well clear of December 13th, 14th, and 15th – allowing the world a day or two, to catch up with itself.
There will be a key discussion, letter, scanned piece of paperwork or some important news near Sunday the 20th of December when the Sun conjuncts Mercury.
Basically, Aries, you are not going to see the world, with all its nations, its foreigners, its regions (in your own country) and its regional differences – in the same way.
This karmic return is really important and you can double that message if any of this is meaningful to you: The England or Argentina football teams; Bethlehem (Israel and Palestine), Angola, The Commonwealth and the Royal Family; Venezuela; the United Nations Commission on Human Rights.
The End of Career, Employment or Study Burdens
Either the problem goes, the person goes, or the situation remains (but you no longer care) from December 18th, 2020. Saturn is finally pushing off, and the Tenth House of your chart, having been well and truly stretched, is now a quieter and easier place.
The Tenth House rules your ambition, position and mission. In 2018, 2019 and most of 2020 you have been pushed really hard by Saturn, the South Node and Pluto. November offered solutions. December 18th is the sign off and a high percentage of Aries people will resign, retire, be promoted, take a new job – or see difficult people step down or be booted out (even). If your issue has been your entire field, industry, business or profession, the departure of Saturn on the 18th may well ring the changes there too, so that 2021 already looks easier!
Friends and Groups are the Future
As you will see at a Christmas bubble gathering near Monday, December 21st, 2020, when Jupiter conjuncts Saturn, the future is about your glittering bauble of reflected faces. Just enough of you to give each other space and support each other.
Even if you don’t get together, what you exchange online in the way of Christmas cards or 2021 plans, will make you realise how incredible the next 12 months could be.
Jupiter always presents solutions for Saturn’s challenges. So, nobody is saying that friends and groups will be easy. Far from it. Yet, for every obstacle, there is a way over and through. And the way over and through will be terrific, long-term, so that you reach Christmas 2021 looking back at Christmas 2020 and knowing this was the start of it all. Accept all invitations and circulate widely, even on Zoom.
Any good cause, political party, rock band, secret society, professional association, trade union, animal charity, global collective, yoga class, book group or similar is meant to be. You will either reboot it or just join in. If you have anything in Aquarius in the Eleventh House of your chart, and many people with the Sun in Aries do, then you will come into your own in 2021. It starts just before Christmas Eve. You have always been the person who supplies the community with what it needs to thrive. In return you get the satisfaction of knowing you are part of the whole. Ambition, Position and Mission
The historic arrival of not just Saturn but also Jupiter in your zone of ambition, mission and position (on Monday 21st December) suggests that 2021 could offer anything from your own small business, to a proper resignation, or retirement. It really depends on your personal birth chart, Taurus, but there might also be a new role (completely different, in terms of your field or profession) and perhaps the usual lifestyle change that follows redundancy packages.
We also have to include part-time or full-time study as a commitment, and also unpaid work; volunteering for a charity, for example.
This does look rather like a new position, or the winding down of your old position, in so many cases. If so, try to expedite paperwork well away from Mercury Retrograde, around January 16th to March 13th, 2021. If you have no choice, at least have plan B and C and read the fine print.
This is quite naturally the time of year when people are reshuffled, and you would expect the deck of cards to be played with a new hand after December, January, February and the Aquarius weather we are seeing.
Jupiter is the problem-solver of astrology and forces Saturn into a new way of operating, so that issues can be overcome. This pairing is unusual and suggests some hard and heavy realities, at the same time that there are terrific opportunities and solutions.
If life is not that dramatic, it may be a matter of meetings which discuss 2021 for your company, workplace, university and so on – and possible outcomes if X does not happen or Y does not deliver. I expect that push would come to shove in June 2021, when Uranus at 13 Taurus, your own sign, squares Saturn at 13 Aquarius. This would really be about your title, as much as anything, so perhaps we’re looking at mid-year as a deadline for others as well as yourself.
Professional expansion, hope, growth and exploration comes hand-in-hand with professional reality checks, obstacles, challenges and long, ongoing tests. It’s a peculiar combination, but as I said, Jupiter always beats Saturn, so in 2021 what you’re going to see (evident near Christmas) is more – far more – than you have ever seen before. Yet, it will counteract what cannot be avoided, too. Saturn and Jupiter in conjunction are the question and the answer, together.
Foreign People and Places
That lead weight, dead weight you have put up with in 2018, 2019 and part of 2020 is over on the 18th of December when Saturn changes signs. This involved foreign people and places, regional differences and distances, publishing and the worldwide web and/or academia and education. You took a big leap forward in November, but you can freewheel downhill from December 18th, 2020, Taurus.

Your Former, Current or Potential Partner
Your former, current or potential partner (in love or work) is bringing back old themes, stories and questions from April 2002 near Friday, December 11th, 2020, as the Sun is opposite the North and conjunct the South Node. This sheds light on what you must pay back spiritually, or emotionally, or what must be paid to you by the person now centre-stage.
This could be a completely different face to the one who concerned you in April 2002. Or, perhaps, this is an old marriage or long-standing professional duet.
What goes around comes around from April 2002 and there is often a Groundhog Day feeling to the Nodes. Bill Murray wakes up, sees the alarm clock, and knows that nothing he does or says, will change the circular nature of time.
So, what do you gain? Well, you work on yourself, so you become more philosophical, more discerning, more thoughtful, more tolerant and all those other Zen master qualities that make you happier! Yet, for all that Saturn can feel rather heavy, Jupiter always beats him into a cocked hat, and repeatedly in 2021 you are going to see jaw-dropping, epic, positive possibilities.

Work, Physical and Mental Health
Old stories, themes, lessons and memories from April 2002 come back via work, unpaid work, housework or academic issues, near Friday, December 11th, 2020, as the Sun is opposite the North and conjunct the South Node. Everything old is new again on the Node cycles, and you are being returned to April 2002, so you can settle scores, receive an apology, achieve balance, take rewards and so on. We tend to find the Nodes bring back unresolved relationships and, in your case, these may be professional, or just tied to your voluntary role or your study. The Sun will shed light on who/what you need to understand from April 2002 and perhaps even further back into past lives.
The Sixth House of your chart, where we find the South Node in Sagittarius, is about your mental and physical health as well as your duty and service to others. It’s rather like being the valet who puts himself on the line for his master, caring for him when he has a cold and thus putting himself at risk.
Another example might be someone else doing this for you! So perhaps you put others first, even as far back as 2002 and now you are being shown how the wheel of karma returns. Maybe that was the time you took on extra work to help a colleague who was going through a tough time. This is a classic story about what is fated, rather heavy, full of tests and trials – but also contains stunning solutions, sweeping resolutions and so much room for growth.
A typical example would be getting a pay-out from an employer and using it to invest in a small business. You miss the security of a pay-packet, but you also know you can do this.
Jupiter, Optimus Maximus to the Romans, is about maximising optimism. Saturn, Chronos to the Greeks, is about chronological order. Time and timing. Saturn tends to slow everything down, so 2021 is hardly going to go at a fast clip, financially. Yet, Jupiter, the son of Saturn, is also the grand problem-solver of astrology and for every red light or amber light, you will have three green. It’s that kind of Christmas. From 2023, you will realise that so much of your future empowerment, financially, rested on very new ‘news’ before Christmas Eve.

Saturn in Capricorn finishes up on the 18th of December. Your powers of endurance with, through or for a partner have been astonishing in 2018, 2019 and part of 2020, but you no longer have to put your head down and slog through. The worst is over. Karma from April 2002 with pregnancies, sons, daughters, godchildren, stepchildren or young people (en masse) comes back to you near Friday, December 11th, 2020, as the Sun is opposite the North and conjunct the South Node.
You are ruled by the Sun, Leo, so this is personal. We may be talking about an older teenager who is now central to your plans, aged around 18-19. Maybe we are looking back in time at a miscarriage, or a role you had with schoolchildren. Teaching, for example.
What happened in April 2002 is now due for reassessment, and these Node patterns are all about harking back to the past, to learn for the present. In fact, Leo, you are owed (karmically) or owe others. Some debt or credit of the soul must be balanced.

This may be work, but it is probably personal. In fact, for so many Leo people, this Christmas is about a son, daughter, husband, wife – and a real shift.
If you begin a relationship near Christmas, from 2023 it transforms your life, assuming it is still with you. Single Leo people in particular are going to find destiny picks them up and takes them on a new path this December.
Of course, some of you will call it a day on a bad marriage or rocky relationship. Christmas and New Year, and the prospect of another Saint Valentine’s Day, can do that to a person! If so, take heart. You are splitting up at the best possible time in 12 years, Leo.

Gemini-Sagittarius Node
The Gemini-Sagittarius Node patterns in December are primarily about your family, house, apartment, household, town and/or country. It would appear that old karma from April 2002 is coming back to you near Friday, December 11th as the Sun is opposite the North and conjunct the South Node.
The South Node is really about seeing everything and everybody that you feel you’ve completed on some level. You’ve been here before, so often, that you feel you should have retired from it all. Watching at a distance, you wonder if you should go back and do it all again.
Christmas is the obvious example! It is of course a family issue, but the difference now is 2002 is calling you. You are owed, Virgo, or perhaps you owe others.

It’s about the tiny details of your everyday life, Virgo, from the quality and duration of your sleep, to the way you approach your duty to others, or your service to others.
Saturn gives you what cannot be easily changed or avoided. It’s a load on, not a load off! Jupiter simultaneously gives you the answer, the hope, the solution and the growth. All in all, this is looking like a commitment that weighs a ton, at about the same time you realise it could be the reward you deserve.
A good example would be a new, very heavy, demanding job with a superior title or other benefits. A monkey on your back in a diamond-studded denim jacket. Another example might be a commitment to yoga, or dance, or a vegetarian diet. It feels so onerous and yet you know it feels good – and is good.

Relationships, Babies, Children, Young Adults
Near December 21st, just before Christmas Eve, you will see a hard moment of truth, at the same time that you see a wonderful opportunity. You would suspect a few Libra pregnancies or adoptions confirmed at this time.
Of course, sexual relationships are also part of this cycle, in the Fifth House of your chart, which rules your bedroom as much as it rules a younger generation. If you are single, the penny will drop rather heavily. It’s the sort of cycle when you fall in love with someone then realise, they come with stepchildren.
This mixture of pessimism and optimism, heavy realities and amazing new open doorways, is typical of the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction. It’s rare and it’s historic. It will change your life in 2021 and 2022, then from 2023 you will look back at Christmas 2020 and realise it all started there. What, in particular? Well, nothing more or less than transformation, right through the 2020’s.
This may be your adult daughter or your baby son. Grandchildren or godchildren. It may be Millennials whom you teach (for example) or have a professional involvement with, as you are the mentor and they are your interns.
It really depends on how you have constructed your personal life. The conjunction is heavy, big, positive, difficult, challenging and uplifting – all at the same time. It may be that at Christmas you realise you are to become a home tutor for your children in 2021, which is bound to produce mixed feelings! As I said, your personal life is your own, and it really depends on the choices you have made. If we think about the heirs to your throne, though, and the pretenders to your throne, we begin to get a firmer idea of some vast new kingdom opening up.

The relief and release of Christmas this year is partly to do with the end of a very difficult situation which dragged on with your house, apartment, family, household, town and/or country in 2018, 2019 and most of 2020. You’ve done your time. When Saturn changes signs on December 18th, 2020, you can farewell something that you ploughed through, without realising just how unusually tough it actually was.
Things shifted in November – good. Now, the heaviness lifts and that’s even better.
