Aries, you begin the month with a Full Moon in Leo in your Fifth House, which describes sexual relationships (with parenthood potential). This same house, or horoscope zone, also points to babies, infants, schoolchildren, teenagers or Millennials (Gen Y).
As always with these things, you don’t expect wholeness or perfection, so near Sunday 2nd, Monday 3rd, Tuesday 4th in August you can accept that you’ll have an inner conflict, or someone else will. Obviously, you’d pick a different date to conceive a child, enrol your son at university for 2021, or talk to your daughter about her career. You’d want something other than a Full Moon to fall in love with. In fact, Aries, it becomes much easier after Sunday, August 16th, as on Monday, August 17th, 2020, there is crystal-clear communication on both sides/all sides. Real breakthroughs in understanding are possible then. This is followed by the New Moon in Leo on Wednesday the 19th of August 2020.
This is when you could adopt or conceive, successfully. It marks a new beginning in terms of the next generation, in your circle of friends, or within the family. Of course, Leo is not just about your own children, godchildren, nieces, nephews or grandchildren. This zodiac sign is associated with raising the young, by educating them or influencing them – setting an example. So, a teaching, mentoring or guiding role could be reshaped at that New Moon, or even begin. What is a sticking point in the first week of August is smooth sailing near the 19th.
Nearly There with Career/Study Issues
Waiting games, obstruction and Snakes and Ladders have been the norm for you since December 21st, 2017, when Saturn moved into your career, study and unpaid work zone. You are now on the downhill slope and there will be a different game in 2021, commencing December 18th this year (just before Christmas Eve).
Near Saturday August 1st, Monday August 3rd, Tuesday August 25th and Sunday August 30th you must deal with Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto all squeezing you into your final position for the last leg of this marathon, yet it will be progressively easier as you go on.
In fact you have paid your karmic dues from 2000 and 2001 (you finished up the debts and credits in May this year) and are now in a much easier position. Even though August will give you a couple more hurdles to jump on this Olympic marathon, you should be able to see the light at the end of 2020, as by Christmas only Pluto will remain in this zone of your chart and the intensity of 2018-2019 in particular should be a fading memory.
In terms of your success, achievement, ambition and status, you did what you had to do and learned a lot. Yet, life should never be that hard and once you have jumped over a couple of barriers in August, you will get your second wind and from November 8th-14th, use what you are left with, to take full advantage of an opportunity to solve an issue or even pick up a reward.
You recently enjoyed a Jupiter-Neptune sextile pointing the way forward with your success in life. This took place on July 27th and propels you into August 1st, the new month.
Aries Under Jupiter-Neptune
Your difficulties with your career, social status, ambition, position or mission since December 20th, 2017 are now slowly disappearing, and will be gone at Christmas, on December 17th, 2020. Why difficulties? Because ever since December 20th, 2017 when Saturn (slow, serious, stuck, sombre situations) moved into your job, study and unpaid work zone, you have been dealing with a long and drawn-out process of tests and trials. Jupiter, his son in mythology, is very much a problem-solver who not only rules solutions, but also brings expansion, growth and all-round improvement on a grand scale. Jupiter has been in this same area of your horoscope since December 2nd, 2019 and will be with you until December 19th, 2020.
The other reason for the long and drawn-out feeling of tests, trials and waiting games was the South Node of karma, also in Capricorn, from November 7th, 2018 until May 5th, 2020. The South Node put you on a repetitive loop, taking you back to karma from April 10th, 2000 until October 13th, 2001, in your working life – your profession – or your student life.
Aries Living with Pluto
As if that wasn’t enough, Aries, you have also been living with Pluto (a slow and intense transformation) in your Tenth House of success, status, ambition and achievement too. Pluto entered Capricorn and your Tenth House on January 26th 2008 and remains there until September 1st 2024, so you have about another four years of steady and deep change, affecting the balance of power with your staff, colleagues, employers, clients, professors or classmates. It is notoriously a cycle of demotions, departures, promotions and new appointments, Aries.
As for Neptune in Pisces in your Twelfth House – this cycle from April 4th, 2011 until October 22nd, 2025 has been about private escapism. The Twelfth House is about your unconscious mind, your soul, your spirit or etheric body. The Twelfth House is linked to out-of-body experiences, as much as it rules psychics or psychologists. For about nine years now, you have been taken into alternative realities, through being alone. Meditating, dreaming, experimenting with the Tarot or exploring Christianity are all good examples of what it means to have Neptune in the Twelfth House.

August at a Glance
What we have here is a big focus on your family circle, family tree, household, apartment, house, property interests, town and/or country. Taurus, so much of what was covered up or unknown on February 11th 2017, August 7th 2017, August 21st 2017, January 31st 2018, July 27th 2018, August 11th 2018, January 21st 2019 will now come to light.
This is a literal translation of what happens when old eclipse spots in your horoscope are triggered by the Sun. It’s like the path you took, on the map you chose, in 2017-2019 is now illuminated with a spotlight. The details of the journey are now revealed. This may be about your son. It may be about your entire country! Capricorn Weather and Your Horoscope
What we are also seeing in August is all about foreign people and places, regional differences about local culture or customs, the worldwide web and your use of the global internet, digital and traditional publishing, and formal or informal education. One or two areas on that list are more important than the rest to you, near these dates: Saturday, August 1st – Monday, August 3rd, Tuesday, August 25th, and Sunday, August 30th, 2020.
The oppositions involve Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto (the big three) and you’re going to be shown who and what matters most, Taurus. This is really about your Ninth House transits, ongoing, as you have been living with some really heavy realities since December 2017, when Saturn changed signs.
Now, crossing these bridges near the 1st, 3rd, 25th, 30th is going to show you the end game, which finds you with victory in your sights, near the Pluto-Jupiter conjunctions of November 8th to 13th will show you. In mythology, Pluto was always defeated by Jupiter. So, what you’re looking at here, with your Ninth House (the areas which it rules I just listed) is a rebalancing. A new world. A better deal. A superior arrangement which addresses all those issues you have been living with, for such a long time. This can and does end well for you, Taurus, but you are going to have to cross bridges now.
A high percentage of Taurus people will be switching courses, enrolling in degrees, taking part-time home tuition, or doing it the other way – teaching, mentoring, guiding, tutoring. Taurus in August – Summary
The blind spots (when you could not see, and did not know) about the family, your home, your town or country, your property interests or household, will show up in August. You will never know the full story because those eclipses of 2017, 2018, 2019 will leave permanent question marks. Yet, at least you will know what you didn’t know.
The key dates for the Leo weather are the Full Moon on Monday the 3rd of August, the Sun-Mercury conjunction on Monday the 17th of August and the New Moon on Wednesday the 19th of August.
That is when you can bring the past into line with the present. Doing that means understanding how much you missed in the past. It also means accepting that some mysteries will never be revealed.

Capricorn and Leo Weather in August
We have some rare Capricorn and Leo weather in August. Capricorn rules your finances, house, superannuation/pension, salary, credit card, apartment, business interests, shares, possessions, charity, tax return, loans, deals and so on.
The key dates for the Capricorn weather (Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter in Capricorn oppositions) are August 1st, 3rd, 25th, 30th. Allow a day either side.
The reason this is so rare is that you just don’t see these three planets all in the same zone of your chart more than once in your lifetime.
You have been living with questions about self-control and self-discipline since 2008, so around 12 years of ongoing issues about how empowered you are, or how powerless you feel before (you fill in the blanks). Now, there are solutions. Now, there are options. In fact, Gemini, it is all leading up to a big finish, November 8th to 13th, when there will be a deep change in the balance of power. This may be your bank manager or your business partner. You’re going to see alignment and balance at last. But you don’t really get there unless you cross a few bridges in August.
Finance, Property, Charity, Business
This line-up of Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto is historic, and astrology is basically history. We look at repeated cycles of time, going back centuries if necessary, so we can see what is going on. Essentially, you have the hardest and heaviest reality checks in about three decades. (If you are old enough you could think back 28 or 29 years and see parallels).
Fortunately, there are solutions. Jupiter is the old Roman god of ‘best and greatest’ and the planet has symbolised that for over 2000 years. So, when we see Jupiter appearing, it’s always really good news. In the end. Even if it is hard to have hope sometimes.
They called Jupiter ‘optimi maximi’ in Rome and you should maximise your optimism now. Whatever you are seeing for yourself with the financial, property, charity or business side of your life should become a straight goal.
The difficulties of COVID-19 life exactly mirror what London experienced during The Great Plague, when Saturn in Capricorn was conjunct the South Node. Now, that was predicted by my predecessor in astrology, William Lilly. So, if you think this is bigger than you, this is quite right.
Gemini, you are slowly coming out of a cycle which quite honestly correlates with the years 1665 and 1666 in London, when plague dismantled income, borrowing, lending and even the basics, like shopping. Same, same, today.
In August, you will have bridges to cross that lay it all on the line. I mentioned empowerment coming from willpower. Correct. There is also control, coming from self-control. These are the only ways forward. Yet, you also have some blessings in 2020 and you need to cultivate them and do more with them. Who or what has come your way is the means to an end, and it’s a very good end, as you will see in November.
I know that living with these cycles is tiring and sometimes so dispiriting, but I would not be doing my duty as an astrologer if I didn’t tell you about the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, ruling your finances, across November 8th to 13th. If you want the best outcome then, you’ll work it now.
The Leo Weather, Multimedia, the Internet and You
You have quite a backlog to work through, regarding your phone, computer, use of the worldwide web (Twitter or YouTube, for example) – or the media. We would also include education and publishing in this category, just because they are all linked to communication in your chart. Communication has not been what it should be, or could be, thanks to eclipses in 2017, 2018, 2019 when so much was going on – that you did not see. That you could not know, Gemini.
A classic example would be finding out (in August) that your private data was being mined by some corporation online, for market research and advertising. Another example might be discovering to what extent your own powers of communication (speech, handwriting, typing, hearing, sight) at the most core level, have been influenced by x factors in 2017-2019.
Another concrete example; you may go to the optometrist in August only to find out that your prescription for glasses in 2017-2019 was wrong!

Your Former, Current or Potential Partner
The sign of Capricorn rules your former, current or potential partner. They could be any sign at all, of course, but when we see a lot of activity in your opposite sign of Capricorn, in August, it’s obviously a central month for your relationship with him, or her.
In fact, this is an ongoing background story which began around 12 years ago, either with this same person, or a sequence of them (multiple dates or relationships). Faces may have changed but the song remains the same.
Partnership is usually sexual on this cycle (a marriage) but it can be purely for work or business. Sometimes partnerships, duets or ‘dynamic duos’ spring up for other reasons, but it’s always about the two of you, trying to balance the scales together.

This does end well. How well, depends on you! If you are going to put a huge amount of time and energy into crossing the bridge near those four dates (above) to get to the other side – then November is rewarding. Specifically, these dates: The Pluto-Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn takes place between November 8th and 13th. Now, that’s a long overdue piece of repair work. You might call it the ultimate rebalancing. Something has been unbalanced for years, in terms of your own empowerment or control in a situation.
This may be down to the personality of your former or current partner (he or she may be dominating and controlling). That can happen on this cycle. There are so many outcomes, and your personal chart really tells the story. Perhaps you have been stuck on some kind of Tinder loop for years and have felt at the mercy of that. Again, this is really down to your personal birth chart, which you will have if you are a Premium Member.
Sometimes the Pluto issue is the acceptance of someone/something you know you are controlled by and have given into, regarding a partner. This could be a potential date which never happens, or the memory of someone you lost.
Rather than list the examples of Pluto transiting Capricorn for you, suffice to say it’s about understanding that if you put the work in, three or four times, in August – you come up smiling in November.
Saturn is also in play here, along with Pluto and Jupiter. So, Cancer, you are allowed to feel weighed down by it all. You have full permission to feel as if you are shouldering some kind of load. Good news. It goes in December.
In fact, August is a big bridge to November and December when so much of who/what you are dealing with goes. If you are in a really difficult relationship which you cannot escape from, it may be that November-December provides you with the apartment you need. Or, the other person may find a lover and you are given permission to go!
The Leo Weather and Your Money
Cancer, Leo rules your rent, your debts, your business interests, your pension or superannuation, your bank, tax return and so on.

As you are ruled by the Moon, the eclipses of 2017-2019 were particularly important, in terms of what you did not see, or could not possibly know, at the time. There may even have been a cover-up. That can happen. It is also possible that you just had something in plain sight and failed to clock it. That can also happen.
Now, the transit of Mercury (the information) and the Sun (the spotlight) over the same zone of your chart, suggests facts and figures at your fingertips – and what is most compelling – a new understanding of just how much was not seen by you, at the time.
Eclipses leave a long trail and it’s fair to say you will never, ever know the full story about some aspects of your finances, house, apartment, possessions and so on. Yet, at least you can make a new start, accepting what comes to light and hopefully also accepting some perennial mysteries too.

Your Lifestyle, Well-being and Workload
Leo, you have four bridges to cross in August, before you get to the really big leap (in November) with your lifestyle, wellbeing and workload. You can’t really separate your body from your job, or your unpaid work or study. In fact, from head to toe, everything is connected. We include your mind in that, too, as mental health is obviously about self-care, as much as the issues you might take to a doctor or healer.
Ever since Pluto changed signs in 2008 you’ve had a dozen years of questions about ‘fitness for duty’ or ‘fitness for service’ as so much of what you do is about putting other people first. This can be the case even if you’ve been the President of the United States.
You have been in a demanding, heavy, prolonged cycle of late, commencing in December 2017 and weighing you down in 2018, 2019. Now, here comes August 2020 and you have these four bridges to cross. When do you do that? Well it depends on the Capricorn weather, as this sign rules your wellbeing, job, unpaid work, full-time or part-time study and your housework.

This may be when you get real, once and for all, about your schedule. It may be the moment of truth with your doctor, hypnotist, naturopath, surgeon, personal trainer, yoga teacher. You are proceeding towards a reckoning-up and rebalancing of your lifestyle, due the second week of November.
The Pluto-Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn takes place between November 8th and 13th and it’s really about getting rid of most of what bothered you, in 2018-2019 that has lingered on. When Saturn finally leaves Capricorn on December 18th, consider that the end of most of it! For some Leo people this is clearly the end of a job; redundancy; retirement; promotion; a new role. In other cases, depending on your health situation, it’s a year-end wrap.
In astrology, you don’t really get there from here, without some big moves, and August challenges you and changes you, for a bigger and better November result. Again, this may have been about your unpaid work, as much as your paid work, or a university/college degree. I am sure you know exactly which project, position, campaign, goal I am talking about.
The future is really about education. Gaining new skills which make you easier to hire, or just studying for fun. It is also about you tutoring, guiding, mentoring or training. This is the first time in years, you have been in a position to really review the past and see what has been going on. This is about your reputation, title, name, face, image, brand or profile, Leo.
The key dates for the Leo weather are the Full Moon on Monday the 3rd of August, the Sun-Mercury conjunction on Monday the 17th of August and the New Moon on Wednesday the 19th of August.
Essentially you did not know (or could not see) what was going on in 2017, 2018, 2019 during the Leo eclipses. So, the wool was pulled over your eyes, or you were just blind to what was actually happening. You may have already had a bit of a wake-up call. The internet is full of pond slime, isn’t it? So, your good name or brand may have been used without you being aware of it.
Another example might be issues about your physical or personal appearance that you were clueless about. Something as simple as a different camera or mirror could wake you up to that one. I won’t go into the myriad possibilities, but suffice to say, August is wake-up time and you’ll find out what you did not know, or could not see, about your image – back in 2017, 2018, 2019. It follows that you’ll take action. If you need to clear out the pond slime, then August is the time.
Of course, the eclipses are also about you covering up, hiding things, blurring the picture for others and the rest. So if you were concealing matters, in the interests of your reputation or name, then again – August is really the month that the spotlight goes on the dark corners of your past or the torch goes shining into that space under the floorboards.
When we look at this sequence of dates, we get – the time of reckoning. The big statement or question-and-answer session. Then, the fresh start.

Virgo, you are now on the downhill slope with long-running issues (for the last dozen years) about sexual relationships with parenthood potential; pregnancies; babies; infants; schoolchildren; Millennials. Also, your own grown-up adult children if you are the right age. Virgo, the Capricorn weather will bring all this in, with four moments of truth in August during the Capricorn weather.
You are now on the right road to solutions, which will come in November, with most of what weighs down so heavily, gone in December.

This is such an important downhill slope of relief and release, coming in slow stages, that I will quote from my books (2020 Vision, Handbag Horoscopes, Astrolove: Penguin) to give you the details.
As discussed, this long cycle which began in 2008, affects the world of children. This means your own son or daughter, as well as any godchildren, grandchildren, nieces, or nephews in your life. A looser connection to children (through your job, for example, or through friends’ sons and daughters – or your hobbies, roles, goals, and interests involving much younger people) may also be on the agenda. You may also be concerned (or have been concerned) with issues like pregnancy, infertility, adoption, postnatal depression, miscarriage, and abortion at this time too.
What we see in August is four bridges to cross, to the other side of a nice downhill slope. So, walk your talk and talk your walk. This can and does end up in a sweeping solution, in November.
Don’t hide your head in the sand. Get real. What are the worst-case scenarios now? What’s going on out there? Where do you stand? What’s the truth of your situation? Once you know, build a life which can ‘take’ all those realities, and accommodate your most basic concerns. Virgo is an earth sign. Practical. So, August means rolling up your sleeves.
At the same time, there is no point in tightly constructing such an impossibly safe, disciplined, and rigid little world for yourself, that you lose the connection to life altogether. Don’t block your own flow. Don’t make your fear your whole life. Children do push our buttons. But keep this thing in perspective now.
The fact that sex can and does end in parenthood, may be one of your concerns, Virgo. Aries Playboy founder Hugh Hefner had this cycle on 13th October 2006 when he told UK tabloid newspaper The Sun that his sex life had declined to the point where he preferred to play dominoes with his girlfriends.
For all his past machismo, I think his issue was probably fear of paternity. That can be part of this cycle; it really depends on your personal chart.
You can be a grandparent or even a great-grandparent on this cycle and have issues with that role, and the realities of those younger faces. Once again, it depends on your birth chart, which you’ll have, if you are a Premium Member.
The most you need to know is that your ruler Mercury in opposition to Pluto, makes it clear that August is time to face facts. From there it becomes easier and quite honestly, November is a massive resolution and December is the end of a cycle that won’t be back for 29 years. Now, let’s look at your psyche, soul, spirit, psychology and inner life.
Your Hidden Self in August
Leo weather brings a big focus on your psyche, soul, spirit, psychology, psychic ability, astral body, chakras, aura and inner life. Your hidden self. Your relationship with your God, or the Universe. So – astrology or Tarot in some cases – in others, counsellors and therapists, diaries or journals.
The key dates for the Leo weather are the Full Moon on Monday the 3rd of August, the Sun-Mercury conjunction on Monday the 17th of August and the New Moon on Wednesday the 19th of August.
You had a chain of eclipses in this zone of your chart 2017, 2018 and 2019 so life has been really mysterious. You have not seen, or not known about, the greater truths of your own inner self. Religion is ruled by this cycle. So there may be a mystery about your local church, or even the Vatican (if you are a Roman Catholic) which comes up in August.
The Leo weather is so personal because you may not be religious at all (of course). Yet, what we are seeing here about your inner life, inner world, secrets, spirit, soul – is an awakening. Political party? Twitter? Theatre group? Charity? Libra, there were a ton of mysteries, shadowy situations, incomplete pictures and blind spots in 2017, 2018, 2019. Now, in August, you see what you did not see.
The key dates for the Leo weather are the Full Moon on Monday 3rd August, the Sun-Mercury conjunction on Monday 17th August and the New Moon on Wednesday 19th August.
This also applies to friends. You were clueless. Maybe a friend blocked you on Twitter and then blocked you on Gmail (which may explain a few things). Now, you ask a mutual friend to get in touch and realise what was going down. This is just one example of what can happen in August. It’s really personal and very much about your own private birth chart, which you will have if you are a Premium Member (tip: look for anything you have in Aquarius).
Whatever your chart looks like, Libra, August will bring an ‘Aha!’ moment of truth three times about a friend or group. You’ll make new decisions based on what you now realise you were not seeing/did not know about over the last three years or so. I would expect that to be easier for you on the New Moon on August 19th, midweek. That’s a fresh start.
Capricorn Weather and Home or Family
What you are going to see in August is four hurdles to jump with the family (perhaps just one or two relatives) and, likely, your house or apartment. Your local area or town may be another concern, or even your entire country. The household (flatmates, live-in partners) is another obvious area here. We are going to see Capricorn weather in August which gives you some work to do. That work will result in rewards, relief and release in November, Libra. I am talking about the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction then, which will help you clear the last hurdle, then from December, when Saturn leaves your home, family, property and country zone – you are rid of some of the heaviest burdens in 29 years.

The Pluto-Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn takes place between November 8th and 13th with a sense of ‘the new order’. Great band, New Order, but even more importantly, the Jupiter New Order in the second week of November is really about profound and deep transformation. You do the hard yards in August to get to the delightful downhill slope a few months later. As this cycle is so central, I am going to quote from my book 2020 Vision (Penguin) to explain it better to you.
Let’s look at your lease, mortgage or property investment first. You need to become a DIY expert on all this stuff now, so you can be constantly and thoroughly updated about everything – from your legal situation with landlords, to the realities of hiring builders. You can never learn too much, or know too much, in this cycle. So build a plan that works and stick to it.
Libra…if you become an expert on all the issues now in front of you, and if you work at coping, and managing, and enduring, you will get through. The only caveat is, make sure that the way you are now building and structuring your home life, is the right way. In other words, don’t just blindly react to what, or who, is causing these questions. Take a deep breath and strategise and get as much outside advice as you can. How will you know if your strategy is sound? Firstly, it will have worked before, for other people. Secondly, it will be absolutely right for now (check the internet to get the latest.)
Your relationship with your parents, your close relatives (anyone from sisters to uncles) and your own immediate family (your partner and children) also needs attention now. Accept the things you cannot change and then be patient enough, and smart enough, to slog away and make things work. The advice and insights of experts or those who have been there, done that, with their own families could be enormously helpful.
Libra, what I am seeing in August is the get-real moment which is there in front of you. The rope ladder. The tunnel. The river. The bridge. What awaits on the other side is this great promise of a win-win outcome in November and half of your issues gone for Christmas. This will either be, because you no longer care, or because the situation, place or person has gone.

You are now in a really unusual month, when for the first time since 2017 you can really see what you missed, or what was covered up, or withheld from you. We’re talking about 2017, 2018, 2019 here, when a chain of eclipses crossed your Tenth House, ruled by the zodiac sign of Leo. The Tenth House is about career, university or college, unpaid work, success, status, ambition and achievement.
You’re going to see most of what you now realise was quite an epic period of cover-ups or just your own blindness! There is a ‘reveal all’ feeling about August, thanks to what goes down near the dates below. However, all will not be fully and completely revealed, as eclipses always leave a trail. Nobody still knows what happened with Kennedy. That was tied to an eclipse, and we’re talking over 50 years and counting.
I doubt very much the situation with your particular company, field, business, industry, profession was that dark. But whatever, August is the time to realise how much you did not know or could not see at the time. This sequence of dates, below, will lead you to a new beginning.

You have been living with Saturn and Pluto in your zone of mind, communication, internet, phone, public speaking, writing, education and the rest – since 2017. That’s a really long time. As the mind is your control tower, to have these two planets in your zone of outlook, attitude, thought processes and the rest, requires time out. This is a great website, run by The Healing Trust, with superb free meditations for just that purpose. It is recommended by Matthew Manning, one of the world’s most famous healers.
In general, even beyond your actual mental processes, what we have here is a major question about the media for some of you – and in other cases, it’s very much about being read, or being heard, on Twitter, YouTube, email, Zoom and the rest.
You are now on the downhill slope and will see progress in two stages. Firstly, in August, by doing the work. You have what it takes to get over four major challenges and will do so, clearing the way for a really satisfying outcome in November, on the second week.

Okay, so let’s dive straight into August. Challenges, tests and trials involving your finances, company or property have made a kind of chain, since 2008. So that’s a dozen years and counting. More recently the hoops you had to go through became tighter in 2018, 2019, 2020.
Now, in August, you have some more crawling and perspiring to do, but you can see the finishing line and you can even see some really hard-won trophies, Sagittarius. The outcome you want, with your ruler Jupiter involved, is November. The final unloading comes just before Christmas.
What you have in August is Capricorn weather. The line-up then is about stretching others and yourself. We then go to November, as the final outcome, and although it’s going to be solid anyway, if you want it to be solid gold, you will really push yourself in August.

Sagittarius, here are some dates to conjure with (below) as you restart the way you travel, deal with foreigners, study, teach, publish or use the internet. What you are really offered in August is a chance to look back at your blind spots from 2017, 2018, 2019.
What you did not see, or could not know, about the trips, university/college courses, books, websites, foreign people and places – is now more obvious to you. The Sun and Mercury will go over that old eclipse path.
Those eclipses were absolute concealment, in some cases, and in others – you just were not shown, or information was missing. It is also common with eclipses to have something/someone right in front of your eyes and miss the story.
Here we have a chance, near these dates, to deal with the missing jigsaw pieces of the overall puzzle picture. You will then ditch that game and start another, or even begin to piece it together, one more time – near that New Moon in Leo. That would be the timing, and I think the backward push of those eclipses makes it a tad inevitable.

Capricorn, August is time to realise what you did not see/could not know about your finances, house, shares, business, apartment, possessions, charity, business and the rest – back in 2017, 2018, 2019. That was eclipse season, and it was quite long. It also resulted in you not seeing what or who was in plain sight, or perhaps trying to do the calculations when there was a cover-up.
As the Sun and Mercury go over this zone of your chart there will be enlightenment and also discussion – facts and figures. You will ultimately end up with a fresh start very close to 19th August. At the other end of the scale we have 2021 already earmarked as the year of challenge and solution, with all that you own, earn or owe. It’s a big year. Historic, actually. What you add up in August is part of next year. So around the 19th, life does become rather important. The new beginning then is really about 2021.

I write a lot about this for you, Capricorn, because it’s been a story for a dozen years. That’s how long you have had Pluto in your sign. Essentially, August asks you to tackle the realities (about yourself) four times. This may be wardrobe, Wikipedia entry, Twitter profile, portrait or basic title.
You then get to see the pay-off in November when there is a tremendous and sweeping solution, at the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn. It runs very deep and will correct a great deal. Then, from December, the heaviest load of all is off your back. Just before Christmas. Sure, this is superficial stuff. It’s just your exterior. But it has become a channel for so much else.

I am going to quote from my book 2020 Vision (Penguin) to give you more detail on what is going on. This cycle was actually predicted for you many years ago, back in 2008, when this book first appeared, Capricorn.
At this time, December 2017-December 2020, Saturn is passing through your First House, which rules your mask, your performance, and your image. This cycle has nothing to do with the person inside, but everything to do with how you are seen – and how you project, present and package yourself to the outside world.
You are proceeding with extreme caution now, which is why you may be protecting your true self, or deliberately building a particular persona. Relaxing and being spontaneous – being yourself – will be difficult while Saturn is in the First House! Nevertheless, you will also learn a great deal about self-control and self-discipline. Whatever fear you have about how you are seen, how you appear, what you look like – and how the world rates you – will encourage you to work hard on shoring up your image.
Others will sense a barrier, or a wall, between you and them. Those who know you extremely well, will wonder where the real you has disappeared to. And those who’ve never met you? They’ll sense that someone’s behind the mask, somewhere, but it may be impossible for them to get to know you properly, until this cycle is over. The barriers will go up now, and stay up, for two years.
Why the performance? Why the make-up, the hair transplant, the heel-lifts, the padded bra, the public relations drive, the Botox, or the elocution lessons? Whatever you use to help you stage your act in this cycle (and it may just be a particularly frozen smile, or a particularly serious car) you need to ask yourself if your anxieties about yourself actually justify the lengths you’re going to.
The closer the mask is to the person you actually are, the easier your life will be. Nevertheless, it appears that a reasonable amount of routine and ritual will be involved in building your look, or your reputation, a certain way. Progress will be unavoidably slow by the way, so don’t expect instant or easy results in your task. No matter if you are body building, losing weight, or working tirelessly on the way that other people judge you, Saturn in the First House will present you with an epic set of chores.
What is different about 2020 is that you have solutions. Remedies and fixes. Jupiter in Capricorn can do that for you. The road to November’s ultimate grand-slam answer is really about what you do now, crossing those four bridges in August.

Your Former, Current or Potential Partner
Aquarius, you didn’t know or could not see so much about your former, potential or current partner – back in 2017, 2018, 2019. Now, we have the Sun (the spotlight) and Mercury (the microphone) crossing over this zone of your chart. So, you will see what you were missing, or hear about/read about what was never there at the time.
I’ll use my 2008 book, 2020 Vision (Penguin) to fill out the detail for you. Your future was in fact predicted about/with this person some 12 years ago, when this book first appeared.
I am thinking that the world of pregnancy, babies, infants, schoolchildren, teenagers or adult children may be a big karmic deal here, Aquarius, because you also have the North Node in this zone of your chart. So, we may also be talking about the year 2001 in terms or karma, or even the year 1982.
Are you single? You’ll get an incredible amount of information about the person you want now, just by talking – or Googling. If your priority is your ex partner, you’ll be amazed at how much you can find out about his/her situation. And if you just want to scan the world of dating? Good move. Mercury will provide you with the sources, contacts, networks, and information, if you are prepared to put in the work. Are you happily involved with a partner? An issue which is vital to the relationship or marriage will come up now, and you’ll be able to do a lot of ‘homework’ and useful analysis. Are you unhappily attached or married? This period is crucial, because you’ll be using your head, to fathom a situation which usually affects your heart. Expect lots of discussion or reading now.

Because the Sun tends to highlight, illuminate and expose what people did not know (or could not see) before it is very likely you’ll have a public wedding, break-up, new date and so on, in August. How public? Very public. Yet, what is obvious is the 2017, 2018, 2019 blind spot or cover-up. This is basically about a former partner for a lot of you, and so you may be going back, back, back into the distant past. If there were things you never knew about your lost partner’s first wife, for example, that may now be revealed.
It all leads to a new beginning for you, Aquarius, on that Leo New Moon coming up. The sequence is a bridge to cross on Monday the 3rd of August. Then, on the 17th of August, or close to it, there is an epic e-mail, discussion or Twitter post – maybe a letter. We then go to life around the New Moon on the 19th of August and that’s your fresh start.
If there is karma about the children, or past pregnancies, then this takes longer. I recommend you look up the North Node in Gemini on Search because that is the cycle which is really about settling past life (and this life) karmic debts and credits.
Your Inner Life and Private World
Aquarius we also have some mighty Capricorn weather in August, so you are really overdue for a soul inspection. In the Middle Ages, this zone of your chart was about God. Today it is about psychics, psychologists, astrologers, Tarot – as well as religion. It is about being alone and soul-searching. Contacting the psyche, soul or spirit through dream analysis, perhaps, or by prayer.
To say this is a long process is an understatement. It has been going on since 2008, when I first launched my book, 2020 Vision (Penguin) which predicts this for you now.
You are going to see Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter all pull on your chart near August 1st, 3rd, 25th and 30th so there are four hoops to crawl through. It really is an obstacle course, too, as the Mercury and Venus oppositions to these mighty, slow-moving planets, show you the daily and the details – to highlight the bigger picture.
So, there may be a particularly complex psychic reading that makes you far more aware of the need for self-control or willpower, when it comes to your own need to read. There may be a moment in the confession with your priest that allows you to see the basic facts about your church. I talk a lot about friendship and also group involvement, because you are ending an historic cycle not seen in your lifetime regarding these people. August 1st, 3rd, 25th, 30th are real moments of truth.
Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn are quite the line-up and they provide solutions, tests of willpower and tests of patience. The solutions are obviously what you are most interested in, and they are there all the time, but the real moment will come in November, when a Jupiter-Pluto conjunction allows you to change everything, and also be changed. That’s November 8th through 13th and you’re then going to see what a difference a year makes.
From Christmas Saturn disappears from this zone of your chart so it’s really clearly a year-end clear-up and clean-out. The group may be Alcoholics Anonymous or a union. The friend may be old or new, or even a frenemy, as Nancy Mitford christened these people.
Essentially you have this Capricorn weather in July to test you four more times, and then you’re done. The tests are really nothing you have not seen before, as you get oppositions from the Sun and Mercury to this zone of your chart every year lately! (Since 2018 anyway).
What is different now is the solution. It’s here and it’s big. There are real questions about who is top dog, who is more powerful, who has clout – with the friendship or regarding this group. That needs sorting out and sorted out it will be.

Pisces, your great lesson in August is that you have to be a team player to benefit from the power in a group of influential or strong people. Well-connected people, perhaps. You have to join in and not be a star, any more than you are a dropout! The other great lesson of August is that if you want to be really successful, happier and live the kind of fulfilled life that you want, you need to get on board with the group that involves one or more friends.
This is really up to you, but you have the most to gain, if you do what is sensible, and persist on the path to November. That could be a real wow-factor month for you, with so many problems eradicated.
The Leo Weather and Your Lifestyle
You are now going to see a great deal cleared up and illuminated – clarified – about your lifestyle. This is about your health and mental health. It is about your workload, housework and work ethic, and any study you have been involved in.
Basically the Sun and Mercury are now going over eclipse paths left over from 2017, 2018, 2019. What you could not see and did not know, will now be mostly revealed. I say mostly. An eclipse always leaves a long mystery trail. So, there are some things about your health, job, course, part-time work, unpaid work, housework, role, mental health, fitness (the whole lifestyle) that will be forever unknown to you. This is really normal for an eclipse and we have some from the 18th century that still ask unanswered questions!
So some things are the unsolved puzzle. Yet, Pisces, there is enough there that I think you will make a big new start on the New Moon (watch the Moon shrinking to a sliver, and becoming quite dark, over your rooftop). As this is a historic cycle, I’ll quote from my book 2020 Vision (Penguin) to fill in the details.
You’ll probably be involved with some kind of fact-finding mission about your health and wellbeing now. The internet will probably be involved, or you’ll be ploughing through library books, magazines, or the phone directory – as you gather sources and contacts. This is a great cycle for doing serious homework on a medical condition or lifestyle question you might have – it will enable you to touch base with a lot of people, very quickly, and supply you with a broad sweep of facts and figures. Think with your heart and your head, though!
This cycle is also about your full-time or part-time job. If you run the home instead of working, then it applies to your daily routine in the house, or flat. An issue will arise now, which requires a lot of calling, e-mailing, reading, web surfing, or face-to-face discussion. It’s a brilliant time to do research the state of your chosen industry or profession, with a view to clever career moves. If you have full-time home duties, it’s a very good time to organise a range of quotes from tradespeople, or those who supply other goods and services. If you happen to have Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Chiron, or the Nodes in the Sixth House too, this period could help you to make up your mind about some dramatic career decisions. Just don’t forget your emotions either!
*Cancerian singer George Michael had this cycle on 17th November 2003 when he signed a new recording contract with Sony. As is often the case with big career decisions, Venus and Pluto were in the sixth house too.
