Finally, I’ll be talking about 2021 and the new holidays, university and spirituality at The Conscious Café on November 23rd, 2020 – event signup here.
Mars stationary direct on Saturday, November 14th, increases the speed and emotional heat in the atmosphere. He is your ruling planet, of course, and here we find him in your own sign, Aries.
Matters of image, reputation, personal appearances, title, and self-promotion do require action. But there is action…and action. What works really well on Saturday 14th November and following, and particularly at the Mercury-Mars quincunx on Sunday the 22nd of November, is strategy. Don’t just push back and respond or react to a fleeing atmosphere or a temporary situation. Really plot and plan and lick your pencil.
These things are best sorted out sitting down, and quite frankly, once Mars completes his loop in Aries on Wednesday the 6th of January 2021, the mood will well and truly have changed. What you will be left with then is all that you did and said. And what you say, on the internet, is very hard to remove.
The best-case scenario in November is that you emerge with a stronger and better sense of self. A clearer and much improved idea about how to project your name and face online (in particular) and how to be who you are – your best self – publicly.
You are living through Mars Retrograde in Aries at the moment, so what would normally be a quick spot of ‘boxing clever’ about yourself could turn into some long-running drama, unless you are conscious of what is going on.
That is what astrology is for. To stop you and slow you down. The other thing to bear in mind is the background noise of the family tree. This applies to either side. This is one of the very last times you will have Pluto and Saturn opposing the Moon in Cancer, in your zone of kith and kin. It happens on Thursday the 5th and Friday the 6th of November 2020. November 5th happens to be Bonfire Night in the United Kingdom.
Believe it or not, Aries, and you probably do – you have spent 2018, 2019 and most of 2020 dealing with new pressures on relatives, immediate family and even the ancestors – every four weeks. That is because every four weeks, the Moon in Cancer has clashed with powerful Pluto and difficult Saturn.
Well, I would say, given your chart in November, it’s only a matter of time before some of the dead wood falls from the family tree. There is some life gardening to be done here, and it might be you or someone else who cuts and trims what needs to go. Perhaps the universe itself will take care of it. From there, new growth follows and 2021 is going to be so much better than 2018, 2019, 2020 ever was. You might call it the currents of time. Things are really moving on and from December 18th, just before Christmas, you’ll have the pleasure of knowing that the family tree has been well and truly attended to.
I mentioned ancestors. Sometimes you find that the pull of a great-grandmother, or even a departed parent or other relative, can be so strong that it affects everything here, today. Looking at your chart, it would appear that anything or anybody that holds sway, among the ancestors, might have to go. This is very true if it is weighing everything and everybody down.
The phrase that springs to mind for your family tree and/or ancestors, once November has passed, is ‘lighten up.’ Who or what weighed everything down, without any real purpose, is on the way out. That is what happens when Saturn changes signs.
I should also mention the group, club, team, society, band, political party, secret society and so on. We are seeing Ceres in Aquarius scatter the lot, November 1st to 9th, when she finally moves off the scene. I would include Twitter as a group.
This is really important from Sunday December 20th, so you might say the first week or so of November, sets up Christmas. In fact it sets up 2021, because once the deals have been done, and the compromises made, this group of people will be in a very different place.
Do not underestimate the long-term outcome of what happens, Aries, because you are going to be living with it in 2021, 2022, and from 2023 some final outcome of all this group action, will profoundly change your life. But that’s another story!

Taurus, for the first time in about 19 years, the great South Node is in Sagittarius, in an area of your chart which rules your ancestors. This may also include departed friends. The South Node is about karma and the cycles of time. In November, we find the start of the Sagittarius weather which emphasis this. There is progress to be made, for them and for you. Perhaps only a medium can really describe this for you. You may see it or feel it in your dreams, which are a common gateway to the spirit world. Taurus, this may pull in a will or legacy, but there is also a spiritual legacy too.
There is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Monday the 30th of November with the Moon at 8 Gemini opposite the Sun at 8 Sagittarius. An eclipse always conceals, it never reveals, so I doubt very much you will be aware of what is going on.
A Full Moon is always D-Day. Decision Day. It is usually quite difficult, too. What we are seeing here is a real landmark, spiritually, for family and friends who are no longer with you. It pulls in questions about your country and nationality or their own.
A specific example might be a wave of change in your own life, that releases your mother (who passed away) or even her entire family, in some way. We’re talking about some really deep-seated questions of the soul, here! You know, Her Majesty the Queen is a Sun Taurus like you and I can’t help thinking that we’re going to see a change in her life, that somehow releases the Queen Mother, her father (the late King) or even other members of the family – right down to Wallis Simpson.
Enough about broad astrology, though, let’s get back to your family tree on either side, and why it matters so much in November.
There is an important asteroid called Hygiea, part of Jupiter’s family tree, now in the sign of Leo, which rules your ancestors. Proserpina is also in Leo. She is really important because she is Pluto’s wife. We have a few squares (what cannot be easily squared) with these Leo factors in your chart in November, towards the end of the month.
Leo rules the family tree, as does the Eighth House of your chart, where you sort out the real legacy. This goes beyond previous wills which have obviously included money, jewellery, houses, apartments, art and so on. It’s about what connects you to those who’ve passed on, even going back several generations. They go on (the beat goes on) as we go on. What happens in our world affects their world. What happens in their world affects our world. This is what you are going to see, with Proserpina and Hygiea in Leo in November. Yet, it’s also very much the South Node in Sagittarius in your Eighth House of legacies.
You can expect your spirit family and friends (perhaps a godmother or godfather, for example) to evolve and progress, from this point on.

Be it the Republican party of America, a rock band like Oasis, The Beatles, The Smiths or The Jam – you must now attend to the group. It might be a Meetup gathering, or Twitter. It can be a swimming team or a church group, but the focus is on how people can sort out the gaps between them, without losing their freedom and space.
Saturday, November 14th and following, and particularly the Mercury-Mars quincunx on Sunday the 22nd of November, suggest a really fast-paced atmosphere. Life moves swiftly and there is less tolerance, time and tact than usual! Your ruler Mercury is involved, so it’s personal.
Quite a few Gemini people have Aquarius factors in their personal birth charts, and if this is you, then what happens in November 2020 will have a profound impact on 2021, 2022, 2023 and beyond, in terms of these people.
No matter what your chart looks like, there is more to say about Mars in Aries (Retrograde) in the Eleventh House of your chart, which rules groups and friends.
It’s not just Mars hanging around in this area of your chart, of course. It is also Chiron. He has been a symbol of life lessons for 2000 years and counting. In fact, he was a teacher, to the Romans. A very unlikely tutor, mentor or guide.
You are about to be shown what you or others can get away with, as part of a group. Venus opposite Mars on Monday, November 9th is rather heated. Honestly, Gemini, the less fire and fury encouraged in the atmosphere, the better. You know what they say about a bushfire in Australia. Do not give it oxygen. So, don’t stoke this.
Beyond the Venus-Mars opposition on Monday the 9th of November, we have a general Mars Retrograde build-up of high winds and potential sparks, all month. The whole point of astrology is that you pre-empt any issues. You manage situations far in advance. Awareness is all.
Your ruler Mercury will be quincunx Chiron on Sunday, November 15th, so there is a real moment then (or either side of that day) when you realise that all things are possible with people power within a group. It can go any way at all. There is potential here for a tremendous release. No other way of putting it. Whomever or whatever is in charge of a particular group could so easily drop it or handle it differently!
Chiron was found in 1977 when punk rock broke. Malcolm McLaren, the manager of The Sex Pistols, changed the music industry. Bands became independent and could create their own product. It was the same with Ed Kuepper and The Saints in Brisbane. Around the same year that they found Chiron, band leaders and managers were teaching an entire music business how to get away with the so-called impossible, outrageous or unthinkable.
This is now the case with the group you belong to, or the group you are most affected by. All bets are off. Chiron is about what ‘they’ say should not happen or cannot be allowed to happen. It usually does. There is a tremendous connection with music and Chiron because he was a music teacher. (Not a wounded healer, as you occasionally read).
I would cast November as a wild, electrifying wall of noise, led by a conductor who has thrown away the sheets of music, and the rules. Now, that is exciting, exhilarating, challenging and demanding. However, with Mars also in the picture, Gemini, I would urge more caution and less haste. Slow down and cool down. Do not let anyone or anything rushing an agenda, to dictate your terms!
You can’t really get past questions of attack or defence with Mars in the picture. On Thursday, November 26th, however, there is a dazzling trine from the Sun at 5 Sagittarius to Chiron at 5 Aries. It follows a Chiron opposition on the 25th of November (to Aesculapia, also at 5 degrees) and a Venus quincunx at 5 Scorpio, also on the same day, Wednesday, November 25th.
That period, around Wednesday the 25th and Thursday the 26th of November, puts Chiron the maverick squarely in the frame. The question is, how are you to play or hear the new music? Because this is really your punk rock moment, with this group, or the idea of people power within a collective, generally. As Mars will be retrograde in aggressive Aries until Wednesday the 6th of January 2021, though, I strongly recommend that you pursue time, space, tolerance, peace, diplomacy and tact, no matter what. This is a long game, and you have better things to do than spend the next few weeks sorting out the aftermath of a Mars transit.
Neptune’s opposition to Minerva in Virgo (at 18 degrees) on Sunday, November 29th suggests it is time for some wisdom. Minerva’s bird is the owl. She is part of Jupiter’s family in astrology and always painted or sculpted with an owl in her hand.
In this case we might say the wise old owl knows that all mighty oaks depend on nature’s gardening. Sometimes wild winds blow, and dead leaves and branches have to go.
This is also a picture of November for you. Even though the wild weather is really about the group, or groups plural, we can also see the family tree being pulled in a new direction. We also have Vesta in Virgo, so maybe this is about one male, and two or more females. For example, a father and his two daughters, former wife and new girlfriend. That kind of gender imbalance.
Apollo is also in Virgo, so there is someone or something to follow, here – a way through and out. On Sunday 22nd November there is an Apollo-Neptune opposition, so that could be a turning point. It comes right after Wednesday 18th November and Mars at 15 Aries quincunx Minerva at 15 Virgo, so this feels like a gathering storm. The kind which is quite useful, as it blows away what (or whom) is no longer required for the long-term growth and health of the family tree.

You have some decisions to make about the world of sexual relationships (past, present or potential) but also partnerships (typically, marriages) this month. You also need to look at children, teenagers or young people in the family circle, or as a godparent, perhaps.
The focus is on emotions. Cancer is a water sign, like Scorpio and Pisces, and very much about feelings. What we have seen building up since September 28th, 2020, is a real moment of truth about your former, current or potential partners. For many Cancer people, questions about pregnancies, babies, children, teenagers or Millennials too.
We look at Capricorn and Scorpio transits in your chart to spot these kinds of crossroads. Mercury at 8 Scorpio opposite Uranus at 8 Taurus on Tuesday the 17th of November is your challenge to change. You have to meet change with change, rather than spend too long dealing with the feelings, which is what Sun Cancer people are wont to do. Nobody wants to rush these things, but there has to come a time in November when you take a deep breath and realise that it is time to act, rather than feel. The New Moon on Sunday, November 15th, 2020 may be a little too early for the new beginning which usually comes, especially as you do that that challenge a couple of days later. However – once Mercury is out of retrograde on Friday, November 20th, in most parts of the world, you will be on your way. There is a tremendous need for talk. For a letter or card. For an email, long Zoom discussion or similar. It will be easier in the final ten days of November.
On Thursday, November 12th, 2020, there is an historic conjunction (or meeting) of Jupiter the problem-solver at 22 Capricorn, with Pluto, his brother, also at 22 Capricorn. This takes place in your Seventh House, which rules your former boyfriend or girlfriend. Your current partner, husband or wife. Previous one-night stands or failed relationships. Divorced and separated ‘dances’ between yourself and others.
As you have also had this long Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio, there may also have been miscarriages or abortions for some Cancer people. It happens.
You have put up with heavy Saturn and intense Pluto in your opposite sign of Capricorn in 2018, 2019 and most of 2020. That is far too long. When the time is right, in November, take a deep breath and begin to think about your new life.
What are you going to do about who or what has fallen over in your life? Can you do the hard work involved in cleaning up and starting again – renewing and recycling – or do you want to kick it as far away as possible? You have a substantial choice, Cancer, but it will work out for you whichever way.
You also have one or two really precious, potentially fulfilling and valuable relationships you’ve not even seen or recognised. Certainly not appreciated. This is Jupiter’s gift to you. This is also the gift of Mercury Retrograde. You can go back (return, rethink, review, renew) what you missed earlier. I urge you to do this because you are not going to see this pattern in your chart for another 12 years. Take who and what is there and carry it into your new life.
I mentioned relationships which have fallen over, or typical emotionally intense, water-sign situations – perhaps blood, sweat and tears. Maybe, toxic fluids! You are quite right to mourn these. You are also quite right to feel that until you have made your peace or fixed up what is so obviously wrong with this picture, you cannot possibly come to terms with yourself.
This has been about oppositions to your own Sun in Cancer, perhaps, and certainly every four weeks you’ve seen the Moon in Cancer, in your First House of image, appearance, branding, self-promotion, reputation, ‘self’ – opposed by Pluto and Saturn.
So what’s the answer? Either get rid of what happened and let it sink like a stone (and this may mean, dispensing with ‘who’ happened to you) – or think about a clean-up.
In either case, the group will do it for you. What group? Well maybe you already belong to one. An ensemble cast? A rock band? An environmental organisation? Maybe it’s more casual, like Twitter. Make no mistake, Cancer, you are in a life-changing cycle with these people. Take what you need from this group of people. They are all so very different to each other, but they are united in a common purpose or goal. Together they can achieve what they never could alone or in a couple. If you are not already in such a group consider joining one, in November.
Take all that is on offer because it is abundant and flowing, and it is the way towards a very different sort of life, Cancer.
One last word. The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Monday, November 30th, 2020, falls in your Twelfth House of privacy, solitude, secrecy, hibernation and confession. This is where you meditate, pray, receive healing, pursue what used to be called the Occult (hidden knowledge: Tarot cards, mediumship or automatic writing). It is also very much about religion and God.
You have a blind spot about yourself then. Allow November 29th and December 1st to cover the whole period. You are experiencing a cover-up in relation to your true self. It may not even be until you are past this eclipse, Cancer, that you finally make the momentous decision to either sort out what you would call the emotional failures (or get rid of them) and seriously move on.
You have time – time and space. And you have that group to carry you. If you are going to make some huge decision about anything from astrology to the Catholic church though (Twelfth House matters) or even a psychologist or psychiatrist (again a Twelfth House matter) you may want to skip the eclipse. You cannot see and do not know, all that you need to see and know, then!

Leo, the world of the MacBook Air, publishing, university or college life, bookshops, schools, Zoom education and the rest is topsy-turvy now.
For a nice, simple life you may want to keep the stakes low, or the commitments very simple, as Mars reverses. You’ll have enough to deal with, without adding anything new.
You have Mars Retrograde, moving backwards and forwards, in the Ninth House of your chart, which rules the world of knowledge. Teachers and students. Writers and readers. Books and publishers.
We are also seeing a bit of ‘unfixed’ fixed sign weather, involving Leo (your sign), Taurus and Aquarius. Swings and roundabouts just about sum it up. The best thing to do about November is to unfix what is fixed about yourself. Try to be flexible and philosophical. Don’t hang on and hold on, just keep going with the revolving Wheel of Fortune. Every high is a low in the making, and every low is a high in the making.
We also have this ‘swings and roundabouts’ feeling to communication, information, education and so on (from libraries to the bestseller lists) with Mercury retrograde in Libra. That sign rules everything that is written down, or on a computer screen, and he now goes back over old ground, not winding up completely until November 10th.
This might be a delay with your publisher distributing your new book, as delivery cannot keep up with demand. It might be a printing error which means a product recall and retraction.
If you are studying there may be a merry-go-round with your course, involving the professor herself, the university or some other aspect of the process.
The thing to remember about Mars Retrograde in Aries, in your Ninth House of books, and also Mercury Retrograde in Libra, in your Third House of laptops, is that you can always finish on a high. And then the wheel stops turning!
The chart action this month reminds me of the song Helter Skelter by The Beatles. Sir Paul McCartney’s masterpiece also describes the up/down and high/low nature of his band and his solo career. Always changing, never standing still, every slippery slope is the journey to a huge high.
Uranus is the planet that times with ‘world turning upside-down’ moments which shake us up but also wake us up. It is associated with freedom, liberation and independence. As this planet is now in your zone of success and status (the pinnacle and peak achievements) opposite Mercury Retrograde, keep your eyes on November 17th, when we find Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus. You may want to keep life as simple and uncomplicated as possible then, leaving plenty of space and time to deal with whatever is there. Mercury Retrograde oppositions have a random feel about them.
You also have Ceres in Aquarius, which rules former, current and potential partners – rotating the wheel backwards and forwards until November 9th, Leo. This is all part of what I mean when I say you have to ‘unfix what is fixed’ about yourself.
Be aware of all that you imagine and expect, visualise and ‘see’ or picture about the world in November. So much of this is hypothetical reality. It does not pop into existence until you walk into it, so being mindful and aware of what you anticipate, even if it is just one universe among the many, is a good idea. Rapid cycling or rapid rotation is the order of the month but with Fortuna (the Wheel of Fortune) in your finance, property, charity and business zone, you can bank on good fortune taking you higher no matter what. In fact, on November 28th when Neptune is conjunct Fortuna, Jupiter’s daughter takes the rudder and steers you along rare economic currents. Onto a glittering island, perhaps, or buried treasure.

Here we have others on the move towards you, or perhaps you – travelling or relocating. This is all coming about on Mercury Retrograde in your Third House of journeys (and Mercury rules you). At the same time we also have Uranus, the symbol of freedom and new beginnings, in Taurus, in your Ninth House of relocation.
As this rules foreign people and places, but also regional differences between states, counties or countries, it would appear you have a Gavin and Stacey situation on your hands (Wales and Essex) or perhaps something more ambitious, like the United Kingdom and the United States. Of course, at this time of year, people are on the move for all sorts of reasons. Some people no longer wish to live in places where they disagree with the direction their council or government is taking.
Along with this movement in the Third House and Ninth House of your chart, we have the South Node in Sagittarius, which rules home, home town and homeland. If your personal birth chart agrees, November will bring the search for a better life, as you pack your bags and depart.
The clues to a better existence for you (with new arrivals in your world) or you (personally on the move) are there on Sunday, December 20th. From that point forward, for almost the whole of 2021, you will see lifestyle improvements and enhancements. In fact, the negotiations around this will likely finish on Monday, November 9th when Ceres finally leaves the same chart zone, where Jupiter (the problem-solver) is set to arrive, just before Christmas Eve.
When we talk about lifestyle, it is in terms of daily routine, daily ease and enjoyment, the basics (food, drink, exercise, relaxation) but also general aids to your physical and mental health. 2021 lifts you up and resolves so many issues. It looks as if there is a direct connection between these people who are coming into your world, or the new untapped world you are pursuing, on another part of the map.
The year 2020 has been really difficult for you, or the people who matter in your future, because of unusual weather in the mutable signs. Virgo, Pisces, Gemini and Sagittarius are the ‘mutables’ and they have been crossed by square and opposition patterns, every few days – even by the Moon. This tends to build up pressure, so November is one of those months when people have had enough. They seek refuge. They escape.
The mutable signs are associated with change, so one ‘meets change with change’ when it happens and that is really what is going on here. This is all rather like Hamlet.
“To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer. The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles. And by opposing end them.”
Given your chart, I would say that 2020 has been full of the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, either for you, or others who are prepared to experiment and explore, just to move on.
The great irony, Virgo, is that without these slings and arrows, there would be no journey at all. So, much as you, he, she or they would have happily avoided the situation altogether, it is also true that this is really what motivates the new quest. And the new quest, and the subsequent resettlement, is really a film to be acted and directed. By you. And others. It is really there to be storyboarded and then created.
There are so many perfectly good reasons why you, or those who are central to your November story, might feel downhearted. It can be really tough to go through the kind of astrological weather we have seen in the year 2020. Yet, your horoscope urges you, and them, to believe in something better, bigger, brighter and more colourful. The blues are really useful, sometimes, because the blues allow one to go within. To meditate and contemplate. To think deeply and restore. Rejuvenate, all the while.
Rather like a butterfly coming out of a chrysalis, the most tremendous airborne flight is possible once you or others are past November and the future really is a blank canvas. There to be painted in the most brilliant colours, once the palette of mixed blues has served its purpose.

The exhilaration and freedom (the space) is so close now, Libra, but you must do a fair bit of work to get out of a situation which is as much to do with yourself, as it is to do with what has been happening to you.
This might be about love for some Libra people. Perhaps the Engelbert Humperdinck song really does apply to you. You have Mars Retrograde and Chiron in your Seventh House of former, current and potential partners. This is both love and work, Libra. So maybe your issue is the aftermath of a difficult period in your life involving this person.
One of the really interesting things about your chart in November is the possibility of new destinations and locations. This might be for work; for a holiday; perhaps for a complete change of lifestyle. You have Jupiter conquering Pluto between November 8th and 13th, in an area of your chart which is really about new habitats and environments. This might be the vacation that is your reward for snapping the ties that bind, or perhaps it is time for you to cast your abilities further. Depending on your personal chart, Libra, there may be a chance to pack your bags and boxes in a more permanent way. We are certainly seeing a sense of ‘let distance lend enchantment to the view’ with the Nodes in your zones of travel, foreigners, regional differences and faraway places, faces and spaces.
You also have an eclipse here on Monday the 30th of November which is when you are flying blind or cannot see/do not know – as eclipses conceal they never reveal. So, time it right, Libra. If you are feeling your way into a new situation in a new place, you may want to avoid the actual eclipse day, and perhaps to be on the safe side, the 29th and 1st of December too. There are easier times to get the information you need.
Use the past (a fairly difficult period full of Shakespeare’s slings and arrows of outrageous fortune) to set yourself free. Instead of feeling bound by what has happened to you, recycle it and repurpose it, to liberate yourself.
Nothing can really change until you can see clearly and completely, Libra. As you go into November, you’re not really seeing much at all. You probably feel quite confined, too. Rather stuck.
It’s really been a huge ask, having to put up with Mars in Aries opposite your sign, for such an unusually long time. Mars was the Roman god of war. Thus, the feeling of being surrounded or encircled in some way is very real.
What astrologers can see, but you cannot (yet) is the enticing prospect of a new life, where you can explore your options and expand your horizon. In fact, the tide is turning. Even if you did nothing at all, Libra, a lot of what you feel to be against you, or much that you still feel up against – falls over.
Why wait, though? Being proactive and taking control of yourself and your life, might involve a fair bit of effort, but you can find the release and relief you need, only by doing it yourself. There is no point in acting the part of Sarah Jane Smith and calling for Dr. Who to come and save you.
Be the Sarah Jane Smith who could get herself out of her own fixes. Beyond the actual question of house or apartment, holiday home or family home, town or country – there may be deeper questions for you about where you belong and where you can really experiment with life.
To get there from here is a climb, to be sure, but once Saturn changes signs on December 18th, half the hard yards are over. Libra, there is so much potential freedom for you with money, houses, apartments, charity or business until 2026. That is how long the great planet Uranus takes to pass through your zone of property, valuables and the material world. In fact, once you really get into the space, you will wonder why you spent such a long time blindly being confined.
Use your sixth sense, of course. Judge when the moment is right to act. But do act.

We associate Uranus in Taurus, your opposite sign, with the new day that brings the new dawn and the new world. This planet opposes Venus in Scorpio, your own sign, as November draws to a close. Uranus is also opposite Mercury, again your own sign, around Tuesday the 17th and Wednesday the 18th of November, depending on your time zone. It’s worth taking a closer look at the structures in your life and how you feel about them. November is really a deconstruction. So, you can reconstruct, or just walk away and begin anew. It really depends on how you feel about what was there before. We hear a lot of talk about ‘Reset’ with this pandemic. Actually, so many of my readers here want a replacement. They don’t even want to modify, repair or renovate what was there before, because an honest heart-to-heart with themselves reveals – they didn’t love it anyway.
Uranus is really about enlightenment. It’s like all the lights going on so you can see clearly. This planet does not honestly make these oppositions very often (you had one right on Halloween, twice, on October 31st). So, November feels like a real landmark, that is because it is. You get the picture. You get it rapidly, almost as if all the floodlights had been turned on what is normally in the dark, or unclear to you.
We are having a real run on the family, home, household and ‘dynasty’ side of your chart. This goes beyond the actual apartment or house, or the property investment. It goes right into how the system is set up. It is there when Ceres spends her last days in Aquarius until Monday, November 9th. And it picks up again, massively so, from the 18th of December and then from the 20th of December, as an entrée to 2021. Scorpio, there is a great deal to be said for unfixing what is fixed.
You are a fixed sign. Yet, here we have a challenge to change. Ask yourself if you want to fix what becomes unfixed, in November 2020 or if you would rather just move on altogether.
Perhaps there is potential here. Maybe you can see the need. Maybe you feel it. A great deal depends on how others react and respond. You are affected, so much, by he, she or they. You can’t really get very far without sorting out your feelings and Scorpio is an emotional water sign. People can sit you down and talk to you about what is practical, or sensible, until the cows come home. Yet, in the end, it is about your deepest emotional response to change. That is what compels you to go back and rebuild, or to welcome a new dawn and new day, and new existence.
We’ve not seen transits like this in your adult life. Your ruler Pluto, in conjunction with Jupiter, but also Uranus (the chance for a new beginning) in your opposite sign of Taurus. Give yourself a ton of time and space for this; for all that things can happen so quickly; nobody is insisting that you somehow rally round in five minutes and make your choices. You do, in fact, need to register all the emotions so you can decide on a future path which is true to you, and you alone. As I said, 2021 is a completely different year in terms of your apartment, house, family or household.

We have a reconciliation, engagement, couple’s promise, agreement to differ or other two-way pact coming up in November. It really depends on your personal birth chart, Sagittarius.
If you have anything in Libra, then you would have been going backwards and forwards since September with this person, with an outcome only possible now that Mercury Retrograde in Libra is ending (it’s over on Tuesday, November 10th, 2020).
The ‘pairing’ in your life may be professional, so strictly business, or be about two parents. The power of two is more important than the actual nature of the bond. You are being sent back 19 years in time here to some karma you are owed, or you owe. It may not be with this person at all. It really depends on your age.
This cycle – the North Node in Gemini – is really about time going back in eternal twists, and always in your Seventh House, which rules marriage, divorce, separation, one-night stands, business duets, corporate partnerships and so on. Two!
Perhaps there is some sense of a really long karmic history here, on your part or the other person’s. That may explain the communication blocks, but so too does Mercury (which rules discussion, texts, emails and telephone calls) also going backwards in time.
The eclipse in Gemini on Monday, November 30th is best avoided for decisions or judgements with/for this person. An eclipse is always a blind spot or a cover-up and although you can’t see it, I can. There is a major issue here about fertility, pregnancy, sons and daughters, stepchildren, adoption, miscarriage, abortion, young relatives, young in-laws and the role one or both of you played (or must play) as leaders with the young.
In fact, it’s hanging over the whole situation. You have Mars Retrograde and Chiron in Aries, in your Fifth House, which rules the role of babies, infants, schoolchildren, teenagers or young adults in your life. It’s pretty big and it’s not going away any time soon as Mars hangs around in your Fifth House until Wednesday, January 6th, 2021.
As I said, the eclipse is usually a blind spot, and sometimes it’s concealment. Just be aware of that on the actual day, Monday, November 30th, and perhaps the day either side. The whole point is you won’t have a clue.
There is an escape from the real world out there in the distance, for you, or perhaps both of you. It really depends what the relationship is. If you are parents with a son and a home of your own, but there is a chance of moving, or having a vacation somewhere else, that makes perfect sense.
Yet, Sagittarius, there can be so many variations on a theme with Neptune in your Fourth House of sanctuary, and ‘The Great Escape.’ It’s nice to know it’s there, anyway.
I daresay the backward turns of the North Node on Sunday the 8th and Sunday the 22nd of November will make those periods quite a good example of a working weekend for one or both of you. There is so much to get through and break through here, but there is also something so valuable, so precious and so fulfilling to exchange. Are you a

In November, you can use who/what was against you and actually put it to some purpose, breaking free and seeing clearly, for the first time. I don’t think you’re really going to get through a year like 2020, with Pluto and Saturn in your sign, but also Mars and Chiron at odds with you – without feeling embattled. Even if this is ancient history now, you are still being held up and held back, Capricorn. Not for long, though.
Jupiter the problem-solver in your sign now completely vanquishes Pluto, and empowerment is yours. Self-control will give you control, and willpower will make you powerful. Before, you no doubt felt as if you were powerless to get very far at all. Pluto in your sign can do that to you!
Yet, all the signs are there in November for a turnaround, a massive self-help effort and the chance to look at new surroundings. We have some interesting patterns with Neptune (escaping) in your Third House of short journeys. We also have more patterns in Aries, which rules your house or apartment, your holiday or vacation home, or even other destinations.
In fact, Mars will leave Aries on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, and for a lot of Capricorns that will be the signal to travel or move, or seek out new pastures for work, lifestyle or holiday purposes.
You may want to skip the eclipse on Monday, November 30th, 2020, just because that is associated with blind spots and an inability to see what you need to perceive and really get the proper measure of what is actually going on. There are better times to make judgements, Capricorn, or take action.
The tide is turning in your favour against who or what still seem to surround you. Time is moving on; the currents are changing, and nothing can really last for very long. So, one way or another, you are on your way. Why not expedite the process though by taking firm action and recycling everything that is there (or even everybody) to use as your means of escape?
The sense of exhilaration, freedom and space will be astonishing if you can pull it off, and all the circumstances are there for you to do that. It will be interesting to see where destiny takes you in future, as you continue to experience Chiron in your Fourth House of vacations, real estate, holidays, property, relocation and emigration. What can you get away with now? Oh, so much. But that’s another story for 2021.

An eclipse in Gemini on Monday, November 30th, 2020, falls in your sector of past, present and potential lovers – with one eye on pregnancy. This is really about sex, pure and simple. We could talk about spiritual bonding or intellectual attraction, but the Fifth House of your chart, ruled by Gemini, is about the fire in your tail.
As the eclipse is also about cover-ups or blind spots, try to avoid judging or acting on the 30th or close to it, because there is a high degree of lack of awareness. There are easier times to make up your mind.
We also have Proserpina in Leo in your Seventh House, which again rules former, current and potential lovers. Proserpina was Pluto’s wife. She was married to the god of the underworld. There are some real questions here about how free you are. How free the other person is. Who or what you consider to be the realm of Pluto? How do you interpret what is right or wrong? Sinful, perhaps?
The irony of November is that either or both of you could liberate yourselves without too much trouble. We often see these patterns when someone is married and there is adultery in the equation. It’s so wrong but feels so right if the marriage is bad and ending it would be a relief for both parties!
You also see these Fifth House and Seventh House patterns when two flatmates fall for each other and worry that having sex will break up the household. There are always these moral and ethical questions when Proserpina is around.
If you have anything in Libra in your personal birth chart, then this is also part of the story. Why? Mercury Retrograde in Libra, in the Seventh House of separation, divorce, adultery, sex with the ex, bondage, bisexuality and all the rest.
Mercury is stuck until Tuesday the 10th of November then he moves forward and so might you both. Perhaps the issue is financial as well as sexual. Mercury in Scorpio (also retrograde) might have been your issue if you also have Scorpio factors in your personal chart, in which case from 20th November you can stop spinning your wheels and make some decisions.
The alternative is to remain dominated and overpowered by something or someone which frankly has no power at all – not if you use your willpower. Only you can decide what is wrong or right. There is a reasonable case for arguing that freedom and independence – sweet liberty – are so important that to break away from each other, or break away (as one) are not a sin.
We sometimes see these Leo/Gemini patterns when you are in a bad marriage or common-law marriage and worry that breaking up goes against God, as you married in church. This is the sort of month, Aquarius, when you really have to figure out what is moral or amoral for yourself.
In all cases if one of you snaps the chains, the other one can too. In fact, it really doesn’t have to be that dramatic. Unshackling can come quite easily. Maybe you two want to do a Gwyneth Paltrow and ‘uncouple’ consciously. Perhaps you are rather like Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and back in love again, having broken up so many times before!
And sometimes the issue is a kind of sexual approach that brings in lots of issues about good and bad. Are you a Libertine or does a higher power wag its finger at you?
It’s all so personal, Aquarius. But please remember nothing and nobody overpowers you when you have enough willpower to break free and be free.

Amazing things are possible for you with this stunning Jupiter-Pluto conjunction. It is exact on Thursday, November 12th – though it lingers from the 8th to the 13th of the new month.
Jupiter is about hope for the future, expansion and abundance. Pluto is about empowerment. We also have a real shift into Aquarius, the sign that rules the community and the circle. This may affect you if you have anything in Aquarius in your personal birth chart and so many Pisces people do).
If so, then the arrival of both Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius from Sunday, December 20th is going to change your life.
There are always questions about who or what is the star, the leader, the King or the Queen with any circle. You get it in a band like The Who. Who was the star? Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, Keith Moon or The Ox? In fact, they took turns at starring. They shone more brightly because of each other.
The only issue as always is boundaries. You are ruled by Neptune and your cup spilleth over, or you tend to get involved with friends or others who have a little chaos following in their wake. Everything can end up all over the place, all the time, everywhere!
This is now very true of this situation with the circle around you. It might be worth pulling that in a little bit and organising what is essentially being wasted. Yet, nobody could really knock the Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, which falls so perfectly in your Eleventh House of sisterhood, brotherhood, your social life, Twitter and ‘birds of a feather, flock together.’
Pooling resources is what the Eleventh House is all about. People power, together, can make a fantastic difference. The Aquarius principle is worth mentioning here, as Jupiter and Saturn make their historic move into that sign on Sunday the 20th of December.
It’s about equality, diversity, community. Everyone shines. The only note to finish with is the eclipse on Monday, November 30th. Pisces, there is something hidden about the family tree then. You can’t see and don’t know. For that reason, as with all eclipses, you may prefer not to judge or act on that day. Maybe allow a day either side.
